Just need to talk.
hi there, Since, I really have no idea what I’m doing and having an ileostomy complicates things like I can’t just drink water I have to drink isotonic drinks etc. Anyway, I have stents due to hydronephrosis. My egfr was 22, then 20 in hospital last year. I have nephrostomy’s for a while. last week

Hi I'm back, looking for more advice from the wise ones on HealthUnlocked. I recently came off Pramipexole and persuaded my (UK NHS) neurologist to prescribed Oxycodone/Nalazone. I take 10mgs in the morning and 20 about 7.00pm (any later and it doesn't work). This led to an improvement, but my sleep

Has anyone been using TUDCA or Restore Gold? Have you seen slowing or halting of progression of symptoms?
It looks like TUDCA is one of two ingredients in a drug now being sold to treat ALS, under the brand name Relyvrio in the U.S. (but at an extortionate list price of $158,000 a year) and ALBRIOZA in Canada. Co-formulated sodium phenylbutyrate/taurursodiol (PB/TURSO). Approved by the FDA in Dec. 2022 and

Bowel and bladder problems after Radiotherapy
Hi, I am Maz and I am 76 years old, I still work but from home now. I have suffered with multiple sclerosis for over 40 years although apart from the early years it hasn't bothered me too much until 2013 when I was diagnosed with anal cancer stage T3. I underwent some chemo and a great deal of radiotherapy

Prague/Berlin and a bigggg medal
I've been taking part in the Superhalf series of half marathons since last year. When the date for Prague was announced, I signed up. Then a few days later, the Berlin date came up...and it was taking place 24 hours later. Oh, eeek. So after ummibg and ahhing, I decided to do them. Yeah, back to back

Light headed.
Twice this week I have felt slightly dizzy and lightheaded. My sodium levels are usually low. I'm waiting to go back for another test. I wonder if this could be causing my symptoms. I feel drained too. Usually, I am fine. It makes me really worried thinking I might have a stroke or heart attack

sodium update
I have just rung my Gp re. Hyponatremia Test .. Receptionist said Dr. Has seen results of sodium test and sees no reason for further tests as ‘ I have been borderline for YEARS’. I asked when first test was done . Seems it was only last year. May 22. 134. Sep22. 133. July 23. 130.
