Low platelets
Hi all, my mum is just going through chemo for
small
cell
lung
cancer
. She has just had her second treatment, which was carboplatin and etoposide. This knocked for six and she has been in hospital with low white blood cells, low haemoglobin and has no immune system.

4 cycles of chemotherapy and immunology for Stage 3 non small cell lung cancer
Hi. After having one cycle of chemotherapy and immunology I am enquiring whether after I complete the 4 cycles how long this treatment alone would prolong life? Upon research I'm getting 6-12 months only.

Surgery or not Surgery
I have stage 3 lung cancer, I have no symptoms and have no issues. I have 100% lung capacity. I have had 3 infusions of immunotherapy and chemotherapy. The tumour has shrunk 60/70% I have a choice. Radiotherapy and chemotherapy for 30 days. Removal of left lung. Both have risks.
