CT scan , fecal blood, CEA blood lab value. These won't show specfic or conclusive cancer but you can tell a lot from them.

Hello sung_ash ,Thank you for posting in Colon Cancer Connected. Yes. there are MANY options for screening and we are firm believers that the best test is the one that you will do. Some of the tests vary in terms of how precise the results are, but for instance, a FIT (this is a test that looks at a portion of your stool) is recommended to be utilized more frequently than say, a colonoscopy (which, if no family history, symptoms, or any issues/polyps found), is often performed every ten years.

Here is some information from our website on screening:

globalcca.org/cancer-screening

Any test that comes back with a positive result, (typically this is because the test has picked up blood in the stool), will result in a colonoscopy.

We hope this is helpful and please, if you are experiencing symptoms, or are 45 or older, please reach out to your doctor to discuss screening options. If you have a first-degree relative that had/has colorectal cancer, you would need to be screened 10 years prior to their age of diagnosis.
