Is this PA? Results attached. I also have SIBO and Hashis.
I also have Hashimotos disease (I take Armour thyroid),
SIBO
(will be treating it next week with my gastro's and dietician's help). I am struggling to feel well on my thyroid meds so I wanted to check if I might have some iron/b12 issues.

Sibo & Medications
I had my first bout of
sibo
a year ago, for which I was prescribed metronidazole followed by co-amoxiclav, that worked perfectly. I have recently had another episode of
sibo
& took the same drugs, but it seems to be coming back again.

Prescribed t3 only medication? newly diagnosed and worried
I also have digestive issues(
sibo

hashimotos, SIBO, perimenopause, head injury, any advice welcome!
Looking for any advice on how to improve energy, mood and digestion when I have hashimotos and
SIBO
(small intestinal bacterial overgrowth) I’m always tired and hungry but have to be careful what/ when I eat or I get terribly bloated and food hangovers the next day.

Sibo treatment update!
I’m really hoping that with a fresh new diet and starting the right pre and pro biopics will clear the
Sibo
so it doesn’t come back. 😃😃😃 Thanks everyone!

Travelling with vitamins and T3.
I am part way through a course of Atrantil for
SIBO
and if they were taken from me, it would really muck up the
SIBO
treatment. Plus, they aren't cheap! Should I leave my vits behind? I'll be gone a week. Am I being naive or overly cautious?

Ferritin that will not raise - what to investigate?
I've tested negative for hpylori,
sibo
, intrinsic factor, parietal cell antibodies, I don't have particularly heavy periods and I try to eat an iron rich diet. I have digestive problems and have to eat small meals and have issues with burping and reflux.

ADVICE ??
I’m sure I have
SIBO
but of course can’t get the test from my primary care AND she wants to cure the constiipation first before treating for
sibo
(without test confirmation). I’ve never been cured from constipation so now what? my stomach is just so inflamed I can’t find any relief.

Before thyroid blood test…
I eat plenty of red meat so suspect could be absorption issues due to
SIBO
. I’m a bit worried there’s nothing more that can be done.

Fecal Microbiota Transplantation (FMT) For PD And Much Much More
Through the lactulose H2 breath test, the intestinal bacterial overgrowth (
SIBO
) in PD patients returned to normal. The PAC-QOL score and Wexner constipation score in after-FMT patients decreased significantly.

ENT diagnoses laryngopharyngeal reflux caused by hypothyroidism
Pylori,
SIBO
too. https://thyroidproblemsdoctor.com/hypothyroidism-and-reflux/ explains it well. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2699000/ also a good read and covers both hypo and hyper thyroid conditions. So back on the trail of optimal thyroid hormone replacement.

Sigh, GP knowledge...
I also have
SIBO
(Small Intestine Bacterial Overgrowth) where bacteria from large bowel get in to Small and expand on the food being digested (robing You of the nutrients) then creating painful, smelly gas.

Digestive problems
SIBO
is definitely an area I’ll be looking into further, and when I get a call back from the clinical assistant (I don’t merit the attentions of a GP) to check how I’m getting on with Omreprazole, I’ll be certainly have new questions to raise! Thanks again and very best wishes

Persistent Diarrhea. Reliable SIBO test?
Not sure there is any way around it, but have heard there is a
SIBO
breath test that can be done at home. Would like to try this if not too costly, before he goes for the procedures. Any thoughts on the
SIBO
home tests? Has anyone any experience of these or could recommend where to get one?

H Pylori link with B12?
I suspect it could be
SIBO
. He also hypothyroidism which is a risk factor for
SIBO
. Sent him to private Gastroenterologist who is sending him for a endoscopy and colonoscopy at end of August.
