Was at the GP yesterday and the GP tried to get a response from the rheumatoid consultant without any luck on the phone etc GP is switched on to the problem , got a lot on with me its clear , she is trying to get it expedited. Proof of this I had an appointment at 4pm today but GP phoned this morning

Hello all, I am so thankful to have found this community! Our story is a little bit different than some, but I'd appreciate any and all input. My son, now 11 years old, had episodes of vomiting and stomach pain from the time he was 3 years old. Dr's though he had food sensitivities but could never find

Kidney issues
Has anyone experienced burning pain in their kidneys? Not necessarily after being to the toilet or needing it, just every so often it feels like they are on fire. Ive had many urine tests, all have come back neg for any infection. Is this a side effect of endo? TIA, Paige

Chest is being a little *ahem* snitch
I have severe asthma-although-possibly-not (long story but I’m happy to divulge if anyone is interested) and although my lung function was in the normal range at my last clinic appointment, it was reduced for me. This was my first appointment at the new clinic in a different county so all that really

Ultrasound at first midwife appointment?
Hi everyone, I'm new here and 8 weeks pregnant. I've had my appointment come through for my first midwife appointment which is in about 4 weeks (eek!). I'm really confused about whether I'll also be having my first ultrasound at the same appointment? There's info with the letter about the screening

Help, I'm new here, only 17, what do you think?
Okay, so, I lost my virginity in January 2016, i'm 17 right now but at the time, I was 16. Up until then, I rarely experienced pelvic and back pain, my periods weren't necessarily painful, but they've aways been quite heavy. When I lost my virginity, I remember only feeling pain to begin with (clearly

Bronchoscopy pain.
I have COPD and had a bronchoscopy and felt fine after but woke in the night gasping for breath and it was bad most of the night . Only a microwave bag helped enough for me to eventually sleep. I expected the sore lungs and throat after probably having a saline flush and a biopsy or two but the pain

I am aged 79. On 31 July my wife took me to Kingston Hospital with chest pains-I felt as if I had been kicked in the chest by a horse! It was 4 pm and A & E was empty. Within minutes I was in the Resuscitation Unit and over the next 5 hours had blood pressure and temperature taken, oximeter reading

Uti and OAB Following Laparoscopy
I had a laparoscopy over 2 weeks ago and have been suffering from bladder issues since the surgery (frequent urination, waking up hourly at night to pee, sudden urge to go). A little about my experience. My Dr. was very vague about the endometriosis removed, stating only that there were 2 small lesions

Bagpipes and A&E
On my last post I left you wondering if I had my personal bagpipes on my birthday and how my blood pressure / GCA was resolved. Well my birthday bagpipes didn't happen. George was unwell, he didn't even take any haggis piping bookings. He seems to only play at funerals recently. As you might have guessed

Regenerus Labs Iodine Testing
Hey I’m thinking of using Regenerus Labs 24 hour urine test to check iodine status. http://regeneruslabs.com/shop/product/urine-iodine-24-hr-nut3-191 Anybody tried this method and could help me interpret the results, their sample report is hard to make sense of, as figures are given as mg rather than

A Bear of very little brain
I failed my urine test last week, and had to resit it this week. This was one of 4 things that nearly got me kicked off the trial at Toulouse The others were blood pressure of 160/103 (it eventually dropped to 135/84), "shy veins" - as the nurse said to me, "you do realise this trial is for a one hour

I need some advice!
Hey everyone just looking if someone can help me. I’m 20 years old and I have experienced severe period pains since I was 14, these got to the point where I wouldn’t attend my education or work because they would hurt so much I couldn’t even walk. I also experienced lots of blood clots so my gp put me
