Hi all, I am a 24 Y/O South East Asian Male. I had Rhabdomyolysis back in Jan 2019 when I worked out too hard one day and pee'd Cola Colored urine, I din't seek for medical attention immediately as I was persistently persuaded by my mom that it was simply because I din't have enough sleep, the Cola

Effects of Radiation
I finished 15 radiation treatments on my breast on Oct. 9. I am still doing saline treatment and wound care. Just wondering if this is normal. Anyone else take that long? The radiation nurse said last week it would be a month more to heal. I am very concerned about not letting it get into a chronic

Early Hypo/Hashi's Complicated By Adrenal/Low Cortisol
Greetings everyone: Finally got fed up with my family doctor who knows nothing and went two routes - endocrinologist (my doctor reluctantly gave a referral) and naturopath. Symptoms I have just about every symptom of hypothyroidism I have ever read and I am confirmed Hashi's by antibodies and ultrasound

Im still awaiting diagnosis for potential Wegeners, just received some urine test results positive for protein this is a first for me, I have contacted my GP for advice (the test was carried out at an allergy clinic appointment and that Dr has referred me to ENT for sinus, tinnitus and nose bleeds),

The last few days I’ve noticed that when I wake up, I feel as if I cant move. My legs feel weak and numb. Sometimes this happens during the day even when I’m not just waking up. Why won't my GP listen to me!
Hi everyone hope you are all managing to have a good day despite the pain. Phoned doctor's surgery on Friday and asked if my GP could phone me so I could discuss my options regarding how I was going to be able to have an MRI scan as my new pain and swollen legs, ankles and feet would make it impossible

Finally seem to be improving.
I am 55 and have been struggling with a yearlong plus flare up that hasn't resolved despite the usual treatment with inhaled steroids (Qvar). A couple of additional things have really helped and perhaps worth considering. FIrst, I went on spiriva. Its a copd med also used for asthma as a long-acting

Still problems with tapering
Hi all, hav'nt written for a few weeks but just wanted to fill you in on what's been happening taper wise, as I've said before had the scans, told no GCA, told to reduce 5mg every 3 days from 40mg, got to 30mg and started getting temple pain, scalp tenderness and slight blurry eyes, emailed rheumatologist

Ugh, ugh, and UGH!
I’m tired of having to write these negative posts. As some of you may know I’ve been to the ER 3 times since July. I’ve had 2 chest X-rays, 2ekgs, 2 blood work done, and 3 urine tests from all 3 of my hospital visit. I think the last time I went to the hospital was in September. Everything was perfectly

Struggling after the death of a psychiatrist
I'm here to find help and support for my adult daughter who was diagnosed with ADHD in high school about 10 years ago. She saw her psychiatrist for four, maybe five years, once a month and he prescribed Vyvanse and Adderall. This past summer he died unexpectedly. She did not get her records from him

Combined ascorbic acid and T3 produce better healing compared to bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells in an Achilles tendon injury rat model
Even orthopaedic specialists seem to be getting to understand and appreciate T3 better than endocrinologists! Of course, the opposite might be just as important a lesson. Inadequate T3 (and, let us assume, ascorbic acid) is likely to impair healing of tendons. [i]J Orthop Surg Res. 2019; 14: 54

Could it be anything else....
Hi All, I had a bowl infection when I was 19. This has left me with issues since then, I’m now 41. I’ve had lower abdominal pain and back pain on and off for 6 years. About 16 months ago I got diagnosed with IBS. I’ve had blood tests for PSA reading, physical exam of prostate, blood, stool and urine
