New shoes and no inhaler.
I spent today debating with myself whether or not I would feel like going for W2R3 after work. As it turned out I was able to finish work at 5.30 rather than 6.30, so felt that I had no excuse not to go. There are no streetlights where I live, so had to stop off at a small town with lights on my

I am a lifelong asthma sufferer & have been taking twice daily inhalations of Seretide 125 for about 3 years. I have two concerns: 1. That since getting adjusted to Seretide,Ventolin no longer works as a reliever. My asthma nurse says ""it should"" but it doesn't. 2. Over the past year when I have a

Asthma Advice??
I don't feel like typing that much, but ever since last year, I've been having really bad asthma. I mean, I never even used to use my preventer, or hardly have to use my ventolin, but now I'm using it at least daily. I was on prednisone for a very short time which did not do much except worsen my GERD

Age and stage at diagnose
Good morning all, hear is a bit more about me. I was diagnosed almost three years ago at age 51 with moderate copd. My dr tells me I have a large asthma component along with all the other beauties. My worst symptom is coughing I'm always tired this of course could be from my lupus as well as copd.

Anyone with asthmatic children with adenoid problems?
Hi I am pretty concerned about my son at the moment, he was finally diagnosed as asthmatic in August (after months of being told he has bronchiolitis, viral wheeze and various other things). I still get told repeatedly by registrars that they don't diagnose asthma in under 5s! He has now been put on

Doubled Seretide 500/50 and Uniphylline
For the past month I've barely slept through a night and I've had half a dozen nights when I've slept less than 2 hours if at all because of coughing with asthma. 3 weeks ago I went to see GP after a night when I'd not slept at all and my pf hovered around 54% for some of the time, so she gave me some

Switching inhalers instead of adding things - wondering about options
Saw my consultant yesterday. I was about to get discharged with 'just keep on taking the medication'. Luckily he is v good, really knows his stuff and tends to get things right with me now he knows me better. So he took me seriously when I said I didn't feel it was controlled because I can't keep control

Seretide and cramp
I've been on this inhaler for a few months and at night my toes and calves are keeping me awake. My inhaler is now empty and I am considering just using a brown one i have in the cupboard. I see a consultant for the first time on Monday. Should I get a new Seretide or tide over on a brown for a few

Hi, I'm currently on 2 puffs of Seretide 125 twice daily plus Singulair at night, but I'm still coughing at night. My breathing feels worse at night, and even after taking a puff of reliever I still feel as if I can't breath. I'm due to have an asthma review on Wednesday with my practice nurse, would

Have to get up at 7 to be out by 10
It seems nowadays it takes about three hours from waking until I am able to go out. I take omprazole immediately I wake then cannot take any other tablets for 1 hour (I don't take it at night time because I like a couple of glasses of vino. :) I use my brycanil and wait 20 mins before I can
