Nytol

I am currently taking keppra and lamotrigine tablets for epilepsy but i have insomnia and am wondering if anyone could help and tell me if nytol would effect me in any way with these tablets becuase i am becoming very anxious. Thankyou

Very simple answer Lamotrogine and Nytol do not go together. If you don't believe me ask you neurologist.

You need to talk to your pharmacist in the first instant and then your doctor when you have an appointment. Keppra can have strange side effects on its own, though.

Hi I have used Nytol occasionally and I'd say they are the best over the counter sleep remedy. Some others seem to leave a hangover of sleepiness the next day. I used the when I started Epilim as I had insomnia and didn't notice any interaction. They are not for regular or consecutive daily use as I think you'd get a tolerance. Regards Paul

Hi try valerian. You get it from any good herbalist shop. You can search e-bay for 'sleeping aids' search the internet for valerian & you should get good information.
