HELP!! Hypo and Hashi's and supplementing for over a year now - need advice on latest Medicheck results because I seem to be getting nowhere
I've been on Levo for approximately 10 years, and currently on 150mcg per day. I had my first full Thyroid UltraVit test in Feb 2018 because all my symptoms had returned with a vengeance a couple of years ago. After that test I acted on helpful advice from this forum and began supplementing my vitamins

Increase Conversion of T4 to T3
Hello, I have noticed that for the past few years, my labs always comes up with something like: FT4 in the upper range, or slightly above, normal TSH around 1.8, and low end normal FT3. I have recently noticed gaining weight, and feeling more hungry than usual, my doctor told me that it is slight insulin

Day 3 of Hashimotos flare
Hello, I am currently suffering from an autoimmune flare up, and it’s becoming unbearable. After months of cutting out wheat, dairy and taking suitable vit supplements to try and lower my tpo antibodies (one can dream), I thought I could maybe slow down the destruction of my thyroid gland but to no avail

Any tips for recovering from the excessive alcohol
Four weeks ago I had drinks with friends that turned into a sesh, an extreme hangover where I was sick four times and the hangover lasted until the Wednesday. I know this was the level of wine I drank combined with the fact that I am hypo and am on Gabapentin for sciatica and it was totally irresponsible

Hi there and thank you in advance. Hope this is not too long a post but please can someone look over my history and advise? I feel I want to add more T3 and reduce T4 but this may not get the support of professionals. I have CFS/Fibro since 1990. I understand that is going to affect my TSH due to possible

Selenium over range, can’t figure out why!
Hey all, hope everyone is doing well today. I just came back from the Endo, he handed me my results and I noticed that I’m over range with selenium, not just today but even in my last test. Weird thing is I don’t take selenium, it’s not in any of my supplements, I don’t eat Brazil nuts. The ONLY nut

Vitamins which ones to take and when?
So I was diagnosed with hashimotos in feb, gp gave me selenium trial pack to take and also my 100mcg thyroxine. I take my thyroxine first thing with water and wait normal 40-60 mind before coffee or eating. I've since read up that zinc is also important and was wondering if I should add that to the selenium

One year on and somehow I'm nearly back where I started.
This is a wall of text, so apologies in advance :) It'd be great if someone can help me figure out what's going on with my medichecks blood test results. As the thyroid panel results (bar a modest increase in ft4) are uncannily similar to a year ago I'm assuming this means my hypothyroidism is progressing
