Hi, new here!
Hi, I'm new here after being on the Endometriosis UK forum for 2 years while I was on waiting lists. Last month I had a Laparoscopy where severe and widespread adhesions were found. First gynaecologist said no endo, adhesions caused by c-section, heavy bleeding due to aging. Second gynaecologist said

Need some info on Fibroids
I've been posting here for almost 2 years about my pelvic pain and heavy bleeding while on waiting lists. I had a laparoscopy last month which showed severe and widespread adhesions. I was told by one gynaecologist that there was no endo and the adhesions would have been caused by my c-section in 2009

1st Time posting. Need suggestions please.
My husband was diagnosed in Jul 2021 PSA 41 at the time, multiple mets in bones. n1b and m1b Gleason 4+3=7. I've been reading and trying to get as much info as possible from this website. Last Oct PSA shot up to 19. Xtandi started and he also gets the 3monthly Prostap injections. PSA went back down

Another disappointing appointment with a consultant... MRI refused
I had my follow up appointment today after my laparoscopy last month where no endo was found but severe adhesions. The appointment today was to discuss the findings and further surgery. It wasn't even the guy I was supposed to see. My request for an MRI was flat out refused. And my adhesions once again

Hello Ladies, Did any of you book their Elective C Section privately at one of the following hospitals and can recommend one please? I have been told that I have to book mine (already!) and have absolutely no clue and nobody to ask to: - Portland Hospital - Fitzrovia Wing at UCLH - Queens Charlotte

Hi Everyone, Wishing everyone well wherever you are on your journey. I have had the prostap injection about 2 weeks ago now and coming to the end of my period. I experienced really painful cramps last night and also had diarahea. Has anyone else had these symptoms 2 weeks after 1st prostap injection

Combined pill, mini pill or alternatives?
Hey so I'm almost 40, I have had three previous laps to excise stage 4 endometriosis from my bladder, uterus and bowel. Been through 2 failed IVFs then had our little girl on the 3rd round via c-section. Now recovering about 10 weeks. Discussed endometriosis returning with GP and they have put me on

So my wife has been referred here with stage 3/4 endometriosis. Has anyone been referred here? What were your experiences if so? What kind of wait times did you have? My wife is currently on prostap for up to 6 months, so we're unsure of what kind of time scale to expect - before 6 months? After? Thank

hi I’ve had 1 shot of Prostap for an operation. My anxiety is through the roof. I have had terrible brain fog to the point I didn’t feel like myself and couldn’t even think properly. I’m now on week 3 since the injection and for a couple of hours I will feel like myself then I get overwhelming anxiety

Post menopause, pernicious anaemia and endometriosis
Diagnosed with endomeriosis over 15 years years ago, had Prostap injections for 6 months, with little success and opted to try Mirena Coil first before hysterectomy. Mirena was a god send for me, it was great at controlling my symptons, I've had 3 mirena coils in total. The first one for a year

Positive outcome with day 5 morula transfer. They are here 😍
Just thought I'd post a wee update here to give hope to others in similar situations. After 4 years of solo fertility treatment including 4 IUI's, low AMH, 5 egg collections, 5 transfers and 2 miscarriages I finally have my miracles. This was the result of my final round of IVF with my own eggs. I

Rectocele repair surgery
I have been looking and looking for people's experiences of rectocele repair surgery and all I could find was stuff that completely terrified me, so much so I was in two minds whether or not to have the surgery. Basically I'm 38 and have been struggling with my prolapse since the birth of my son 6 years

Elective c section
Hello, I am over 40 years old with my first IVF pregnancy and I am looking into elective c section options. Do you know at what week it is usually scheduled? The midwife only said before 40 weeks but did not go into the specifics… probably as I’m still in the first trimester. Thank you 🙏🏻

Adenomyosis - Bleeding on Decapeptyl
Hello, I am new here and looking for any advice. Since I was 10 and had my first period I have been in excruciating pain every month. After the birth of both my sons via c-section my periods changed and I thought this is amazing. Mild cramping and less bleeding. That didn’t last. When I turned

Been on this journey for 5yrs now, some of you may remember me posting on September 2022 that i had a stillbirth at 40weeks🤗.. . So we did another transfer last year end of June , was lucky that it did stick too and the pregnancy journey wasn’t that easy, was full of anxiety knowing no safe zone
