Sunlight
So I concluded that I had
SAD
(
seasonal
affective
disorder
). Yet, I am not a depressed person, far from it! I went out an bought a sun light to put on my desk. I look into it for a few minutes in the morning on cloudy days and even in the afternoons on those days. I think it's working for me.

spasmonal (alverine citrate for constipation
hi has anyone tried this for constipation as I’m still struggling with constipation which leans on my bowel due to long redundant loops if my bowel. Apparently Spasmonal helps with spasms for the bowel and uterus I haven’t got a uterus anymore but might help bladder spasms too?? But I’m wary as I thought

I have discovered that music helps my anxiety. Share what helps with your anxiety and depression
I listen to reggae mostly and it helps with my depression and anxiety. Try some soothing music. The music helps with racing thoughts because my focus is on the beat and the words. Chose upbeat rhythms upbeat words

Could I have bipolar or something similar?
I have had severe depression for close to 10 years but the past few years I’ll get days to weeks (more and more frequently) where I’ll have a bunch of energy, do a lot of thing, sleep a lot less, do impulsive things (like this past time I bought pet birds…), talk a lot, and feel really confident and

Coming soon to the UK: Thyroid Artery Goiter Embolization (TAE)
Today I spoke to an RFA consultant. He told me that Thyroid Artery Goiter Embolization (TAE) is a new procedure he hopes will be available on the NHS within the next couple of years. Apparently TAE can be used to treat more complex and larger goitres and help further reduce the need for thyroidectomies

The key is to be mindful of whom you ask support
In this world, so often we meet people who choose to be right, instead to be compassionate. I do not judge them, because, at times, I myself might have wanted to offer my advice so much that forgot to connect on a deeper level, and forgot just to be there for the one who needs it. I just rolled out

Side effectd
HiI have had 2 instances of ppp now. The first time Quetiapine worked to resolve the symptoms. This second time though it wasn't effective, so I have been switched to ablify/aripiprazole. I am just wondering how long the side effects lasted for anyone else who took this medication? I have been on

Experience with meds?
Finally confirmed that I have BPD and when speaking with my psych she said we could try to see how I respond to risperidone. I told her I didn't wanna take prozac cause it dulls all the colors in the world. Anyone have any experience taking risperidone? Any side effects? I know they mentioned weight

relapsing after 10 years?
am I relapsing? I’ve been on aripiprazole for 10 years nearly. I was taken off it 5 months ago as it was causing drug induced Parkinson’s. I. The last handful of months, I believe weird things have been happening at night. Doors opening, hearing people walking around my bedroom at night, seeing insects

History terrorizing me
I am having lucid dreams that usually include my ex. I really loved him and I found out he was cheating. It broke my heart. I sold my home and moved away. Gave up my dogs. While I was out of state my mental health declined significantly. Hallucinations delusions depression. I blame him but I know it

Guilt over choosing to have another baby
Hi everyone 👋 It's been awhile since I last posted. I found the forum after I experienced psychosis following stopping breastfeeding my eldest daughter in 2021. Quite soon after leaving general psychiatric hospital I fell pregnant again which was a shock at the time but turned out to be the biggest

COVID between cycles and impact on egg quality ... Any knowledge/ experience?
Hey all - so I was meant to start my next cycle of IVF in 3 weeks time. I have been so healthy; haven't caught a cold or even a sniffle for the past 12 months but have somehow managed to pick up COVID from somewhere. I've had 3 vaccines and COVID once before but am still testing very positive 6 days

Abilify
Hi Everyone.....I have severe anxiety and depression (at least that the diagnosis we're going with now) and I'm taking 450 mg. of Wellbutrin. I shake almost all the time, more so when I'm stressed. My psychiatrist had me add 5 mg. of Abilify a few weeks ago. He just increased the Abilify to 10 mg.
