No detectable antibodies to 2nd Pfizer Covid vaccine.
My twin sister got a disappointing lab result today from LabCorp’s
SARS
Cov-2 Semi Quantitative Total Antibody - Spike Test: 164090. (Lab report result attached) There were no detectable antibodies. She waited two weeks post 2nd jab before getting the antibody test.

A single vaccine to beat all coronaviruses sounds impossible. But scientists are already working on one.
This could mean one vaccine to protect against different variants of
SARS
-CoV-2, the coronavirus that causes COVID-19.

Don't get too relaxed about going out because you've had your vaccination! First results show steroids and MTX damp the immune response.

Balanced T cell response key to avoiding COVID-19 symptoms, study suggests.
Many people infected with the
SARS
-CoV-2 virus do not develop any symptoms, and the infection is cleared by both antibodies and T cells that specifically recognize the virus.

Most Inflammatory Disease Patients on Immunosuppressants Mount a Response to the COVID-19 Vaccine (But Can Vary a Lot by Medication)
You could have reduced antibody levels, but still be protected from the
SARS
-CoV-2 virus, in part because there are other aspects of the immune system that help fight disease.

Pangolin coronavirus could jump to humans.
While
SARS
-CoV-2 is thought to have evolved from a bat coronavirus, its exact evolutionary path is still a mystery.

A modified protein appears to trigger lung fibrosis after environmental exposure.
The triggers and causes of a severe scarring disease of the lungs — idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, or IPF — remain unclear. Now research published in Science Translational Medicine shows how cadmium and carbon black can trigger lung macrophages to produce a modified protein, citrullinated vimentin,

New Here. Supporting and Giving Words of Comfort - Inspiration Needed
Hello My partner suffers from chronic pain. Pelvic neuralgias, Central sensitization, Interstitial-cystitis and Mast cell activation syndrome. I'm not looking for how to cure her of this. Often the anxiety of a symptom not ebbing away causes her great distress and I'd like to know how to help her cope
