Inhaler change
I have just been sent a message by my GP to say they are changing my inhaler from ventolin to
Salamol
. Is there a reason for this and is Salamon just as good as Ventolin š¤·āāļø

Salamol doses how many hours minimum ?
AE gave us

Hyperinflated lungs on x-ray...
Another thing, the blue inhaler
Salamol
doesn't help me at all (I'm sure my technique is correct, using it with aero chamber). People that are active here are very articulated so I'm sorry my post is all over the place.

Seretide to Fostair?
At my last catch-up with the asthma nurse at my GP practice, I explained that I've been coughing in the mornings and using my
salamol
reliever more than usual. Her suggestion was either Montelukast or changing inhalers.

Scary asthma attack
I had a very scary attack last night that was resolved by
salamol
thank fully - but my husband was very close to calling 999. I can feel it building again now so Iāve used my rescue again and itās helping. Iām under the respiratory team and Iāll be phoning them when they open at 8 am tomorrow.

I am using a
Salamol
inhaler at the moment. It will be a comfort to hear from you and to read of your experiences.

Salamol empty?
Hello Because I donāt use it everyday I donāt count how many puffs Iāve had of my reliever inhaler and sadly it doesnāt come with a counter. How do you know when yours is empty if thereās always powder left in with active reliever? Iāve read about the float test but not sure how reliable this is?

Rookie inhaler questions
I'm at the end of my first
Salamol
inhaler. I've been keeping a note of the usage and I'm at 220+ puffs. I do have another one to replace it. There is still white mist coming out into my spacer, but could that be the propellent?

Suspected Covid, now on Salamol & Qvar, questions
Hello all, newbie here so apologies in advance for any stupid questions. I'm 51, female, live in the UK's beautiful west of England, haven't had an inhaler since my teens and am not asthmatic. I'm 5'3", my O2 sats remain good, I'm not overweight and I'm a singer (can't sing now!) I had suspected Covid

What is wrong with me? Losing the will to live!
So I went back to GP end of Feb and was moved onto Relvar and swapped from Bricanyl to ventolin/
salamol
. Start of April my asthmaās got really bad and has been completely uncontrolled since. Due to COVID fears I spent 4 days in bed on nebs when I probably should have gone to a&e.

Started my steroids as per my asthma plan but just wondering if the

experiences?

Inhalers to be reduced!!!
I've been informed that my usage of
Salamol
and Clenil apparently are being looked at. !!! My explanation regarding the necessity to use them prior to training in the pool due to chemicals and my lack of attacks- ZERO and my peak flow output 800, did not have any bearing on the response.

Fostair and Spiolta
I was having to have a lot of
Salamol
when I just had Fostair on its own. Would be grateful for any advice, as I will then contact the nurse again. Still hoping Fostair might work, but we're all different.

My Salamol Ignorance
Hi can anyone please tell me how we know when a
Salamol
