New to Salamol
Hello, I've just started taking
Salamol
for the back end of a chest infection that seems to have reactivated my asthma after it has been dormant for several years. I think I'm getting side effects - faintness - especially when standing still for a few moments, numb hands and feet, sore head.

Symbicort SMART, histamine challenge test, ethanol free atrovent
(I think the wine allergy has roots in an ethanol allergy, as I've been very ill after using
Salamol
. I respond well to atrovent nebs.) Phew. Question overload. Sorry! Cheers.

Salamol CFC free inhaler
She said to carry on with the double dose of symicort but that i could use my
salamol
doing 6-8 puffs four times a day! She said be careful though as it may make me dizzy! I'm sure I have read that you are only meant to have 8 puffs of
salamol
in a 24hr period! Can someone help me with this?

Would a preventer inhaler be better for me?
I have just been given a
Salamol
inhaler (reliever) I only get my asthma in the summer, usually around July and August so I asked my doctor if I should have a preventer inhaler and he said no and that I should be ok now with the reliever inhaler I don`t understand this because, isn`t prevention better

Salamol Steri-neb
I just went down to the chemist to collect my rpt script not only have they not been able to get the pred EC but they also said that the salmol steri-neb had been discontinued and as my script specifies salmol they could not fill that one either. Typically Dr's is closed on a thursday afternoon too!

WANTED - INHALER PROTECTOR CASE FOR SILLY SALAMOL RELIEVER!!
I am not prescribed the decent sized ventolin puffers which fit perfectly in these cool cases but rather CFC something or rather
salamol
puffers which are small and awkward when trying to buy sports protector cases for. I did buy a puffa pouch which is cool but too big.

Salamol - shakes, heart racing
I take
salamol
and beclazone easi-breathe inhalers. Though in truth I know I probably dont take them as much as I should. But the main reason I hate taking them is because when I take the
salamol
I end up shaking loads and feeling like my heart is racing, makes me feel really horrible.

Peak flow
I'm on a preventer treatment and have ventolin/
salamol
as a reliever when necessary. Stress seems to be my main trigger. I did a peak flow reading at the doctor's recently, and my reading was 500. Is this normal for an asthmatic, as I'm not familiar with peak flow readings?

Worried about asthma/chest infection
She said I was on the maximum dose of the type of inhalers I use (Seretide 100 accuhaler and
Salamol
easi-breathe 100), and told me to see the doctor as she was concerned I may need more antibiotics as I was still bringing up mucus.
