Curvature of spine
Hi guys - I’ve been recommended to stop running which I’m gutted about as my physio says I have curvature of spine. Running will make it worse with the pounding as I’m already suffering from lower back ache. Just wondered if anyone thinks I should get a second opinion on this as I love running and have

1st Parkrun and 1st 5k under my belt - feeling very pleased with myself
I'm on week 7 C25K but chatted with friend during week about doing Parkrun - she said I'd be fine. So I turned up this morning and I did it! I managed to run all the way - don't know my time yet because in all the excitement I forgot to set my timer! Update: just had time sent 37:43. I feel happy

Urinary catheter, condom catheter
Anyone using an external urinary catheter for incontinence. If so, do you get your penis erect, or semi erect, when you put it on?

DRUG REACTIONS
I have just been talking to a friend and she has just started a course of Prozac. I go lucky girl it's great stuff should be in the water. Once I got over the first three weeks of nausea, I really felt the impact that Prozac can have on your psyche. But not if you have RLS. She actually had a wee touch

It’s now 01.40 am. We went to bed at 22.30, I have yet to sleep. I found myself shouting at him and I feel awful. We sleep in separate rooms as I still work have to be up early plus hubby says I snore- cheeky bugger. I feel like he calls me for no reason, we have had 4 toilet calls, 5 not comfortable

Couch to.... how far? - My journey
Hi C25Ker's, a few weeks ago Oldfloss asked a few of recent graduates to share our journey's and experience's. Here is my "condensed" version, I hope it helps. The most important fact I have learnt and worth mentioning before anything else, is that this is your journey, your experience! Any and everyone

PV (JAK2) and Thrombocythemia
Hello, I have PV and the JAK 2 mutation. I been taking low dose aspirin and having phlebotomies for the last 5 years. I recently tried Hydroxyurea but had bad side effects. After a month, I stopped taking it. Now my Dr. has me on Anagrelide for the High Platelets and continuing the phlebotomies

Starting to worry
My daughter is 4 and still not 100% toilet trained, she is fine with going for a wee but going for a poo she simply doesn't get. We use a mixture of pullups and nappies during the day as she simply isn't aware when she needs to go and will have accidents and becomes very distraught. she doesn't seem

Took the graduation celebrations too far!!
I took the 'completing C25K' celebrations far too far 😊 I did my last run last Tuesday and then had a few days off work, met up with friends, had a day at Ascot, looked after my grandson for two days and I've eaten too much, drunk too much and haven't run at all for the last six days! It was fabulous

Week 2 completed
Just completed run 3 of week 2. My cardio is feeling massively improved as I don’t tire during the run (was puffing and panting like a dog my first week😂) and my recovery is really improved. Only issue I still have is I get lactic acid build up/ cramp in my lower right leg about 3/4 of the way through

I have a lot to get off my chest.
I have never had a life which was unbearable or soul shattering, but it wasn't easy either. My mother and father were in one of those relationships where they loved and hated each other, and that all came to a head when they separated. i was around seven at the time (i don't remember the exact age so

Nobody Understands
Been suffering in silence dealing with mental illness for years & now at the age of 23, I finally reached out & got real help. I’m now in a respite as a result & my few friends that I have are supportive but they still don’t understand. They tell me to keep a positive outlook but it’s difficult for me

Fodmap re-introduction whilst on imodium?
I have been on fodmap restriction (phase 1) for over a year. Amazing results until recently when my D returned with a vengeance, and a bit of gas, but I have had no bloating or pain (which was previously severe). I am taking imodium regularly to control the D and it's really working, (regular BM with

Long term use of milk of magnesia
I have been taking colpermin and it has helped me with bloating and spasms. However it is making me constipated. Is it ok to take milk of magnesia long term for constipation? Or what is best long term treatment for constipation.
