Well the first two infusions have gone without incident. No side effects , so far. No benefit either. The good news is I do not need to consider it again for six months. I am back on Methatrexate . My Angio CT has turned up Mediastinal /right hilar adenopathy- lung cancer. At least that is how it comes

Vacation can be stressful
It just flows from one treatment to the other lol I am currently on
Rituxan
, MTX injections etc. How do you dispose of syringe? I managed to book direct, non stop flights, however, it still leaves the travel to and from airports so 7-8 hrs or more. That is freezing me out so I cannot sleep.

Rituxan
Just received first infusion yesterday. It was a gruelling four and half hours. No reactions thus far. I feel battered today but yesterday was a very long day. I would love to here from anyone else taking this drug. My Angio CT turned up mediastinal/right hilar adenopathy. Just when I thought testing

Rituxan (Rituxamab) - Worth looking into with your doctor to help with APS symptoms (especially headaches)
Rituxan
is a Biotherapy, and not Chemotherapy, so it is much safer. I had no side effects at all from receiving the
Rituxan
. It might be worth asking your doctor about this
Rituxan
. So far, I'm a believer in it that it works.

New to group-Marginal zone lymphoma
My journey included two rounds of
Rituxan
that failed due to severe anaphyletic allergic reaction. Revalimid was stopped due to high fevers and severe rash. Another chemo was stopped due to allergic reaction. Allopurinol caused violent reactions that I never want to repeat.

Fatigue even if in remission?
Hi all, I was diagnosed with MPA in October 2015 and am fortunate to be in remission after 2 courses of
Rituxan
given at 6 month intervals. Other than coming out of this with stage 2 kidney disease I am basically well.

Hence the switch to
Rituxan
. I review all data on drugs prior to taking them. This lovely toxin comes with infusion reaction but also a severe brain infection, which is lethal. My issue is the casual way with which they dispense these drugs without proper preparation.

Key questions to ask your consultant
What sort of treatments would be open to me (e.g. new ones like many discussed on the list - I even forget the name of the front line drugs now, I almost said ibuprofen ;-) As I cannot remember the spelling I cut and paste them: Rituximab (
Rituxan
) - Ibrutinib (Imbruvica)giving away my secrets.

New today to your group...
I was diagnosed 2012 with stg-4 fNHL, r-chop followed by 1yr
rituxan
as maintenance treatment, but relapsed during treatment in 2014, so 12-rounds chemo within 2yr and now "watch-n-wait" ideally keeping my immune health positive.

New Treatments
In addition to the standard chemo-immunotherapy combinations of the past (These are regimens like Fludarabine-Cytoxan-
Rituxan
and Bendamustine-
Rituxan
) there are also newer anti-CD20 monoclonal antibodies with a drug called Gazyva (obinutuzumab).

Hello
I received six rounds of RCHOP and am now on two years of
Rituxan
maintenance. I have severe neuropathy from the RCHOP and fatigue, and sweating (like ridicules amounts. But I am alive and each day is a blessing!

I am desperate to get off some of my meds, especially methotrexate and
rituxan
. I think my meds are contributing to my fatigue. I am sharing this new here because the final inspiration to give this a go came from this forum. So thank you! Jo

Been on every treatment out there and now am on
Rituxan
infusions, Arava, methotrexate and Mobic. I'm wondering if anyone else has had significant hair loss and if anything has helped??? The disease has done so much to my body I wish it'd leave my hair alone!

3 years in stable remission from fNHL
I had 3 rounds of R-CVP, then 2 years of
RITUXAN
. I'll never be cured, yet, that is okay. I take care of myself, and exercise, rest, & eat well.
