Not well!!
They gave me
Ritalin
which helps for about 4 hours and then back to the couch. Also my bones and joints hurt like there’s no tomorrow. I have a very hard time walking. I’m wondering if this is it for me and that’s why my Onc suggested Boston.

ADHD Tips
I have been taking
ritalin
and it's been working well so far. I am due for appointment with my psychiatrist for a follow up. I do feel that side effects have gone away big time like close to zero.

Finally getting my med!
Because of the shortage, I wasnt able to get
Ritalin
so my doctor prescribed generic adderall until I was able to get it. My question is: does anyone know how many hours after taking my last dose of Adderall can I start on
Ritalin
again?

Vyvanse need encouragement
When my daughter was younger, we tried
Ritalin
and Adderall and had problems with both. We went several years unmedicated. My daughter is doing well in all areas of life and i keep questioning why I am starting medication.

Know a provider who really gets it?
They said things like, "If
Ritalin
didn't help you, then you don't have ADD," and, "Medication doesn't work for everyone." I met Dr. Liden at a conference. He told the audience that response to any one medication is not a diagnostic criteria for ADD/ADHD.

Ritalin And Prozac or Zoloft
anyone have experience giving their young child both
Ritalin
and medication for anxiety like Prozac or Zoloft? My son is 5 and his doctor is considering this to help curb some of his anxiety symptoms but we’re nervous about adding another drug into the mix at such a young age.

meds plateauing
My 5 yr old son seems to respond to
Ritalin
for about a month before his poor behavior and impulsivity starts up again. This includes all dose changes and time of day changes etc. he does well then he starts to regress. Is this normal?

Teen ADHD w anxiety and depression very low motivation
Hates the way Adderall makes her feel -no appetite- but had a very bad reaction to
Ritalin
. Just cannot motivate to do much. Needs to sleep a lot. Is playing sport a few times a week, but almost never does homework and is struggling in school as a result.

Non-Stimulant Medication with Heart condition
I was on
Ritalin
up until the age of 16, but when I became an adult and have a heart condition, the doctors wouldn't give me stimulant meds. Your heart isn't as strong as it is when you're a child they say.

Teenager daughter in total denial of diagnosis
So far we have tried therapists, a coach, and the psychiatrist prescribed
Ritalin
, which she only tried once and will never try again as she got dizzy and got blurry vision. Her opposition to us parents is also very strong, as she wants to be fiercely independent.

We have taken his phone away many times (he's currently on day 9 of no phone for something his was dishonest about last week) He's on Zoloft 100mg and
Ritalin
5mg. He sees a therapist once a week.

I need help now
Like I said above I started taking
Ritalin
in 2000 and have been on it non-stop since that time. But, as you can also see it has changed my life in many positive ways.

Additionally, several small trials have found an increase in energy with the use of stimulants such as methylphenidate (
Ritalin
), dexmethylphenidate (Focalin) and modafinil (Provigil).

Which meds helped emotional dysregulation?
He tried
ritalin
and concerta, but we didn't notice any improvement in any symptoms, and had a few undesirable side effects, so we went off. At the time, he really didn't want any medication, so we didn't continue the search. (We homeschool, so we're mostly able to work around the focus stuff.)
