Has anyone worked with Functional Thyroid Care?
My GP has withdrawn my 25mcg Levothyroxine he only just prescribed about a month ago on a trial basis because my TSH is fine. The only way I was able to persuade him to let me try 25mcg was I took him printouts from all the thyroid forums I am on and he also is aware that I have been complaining about

Introduction and some initial questions
Hi folks, I've ended up here as I was given some routine blood tests when I started with my health insurance (I'm British but I live in Spain) and it was discovered (rediscovered?!) that I have Hashimotos'. I was first diagnosed with this maybe 15 yrs ago when my kids were little. I was breastfeeding

Amlodipine and calcium
Hi, I'm on amlodipine for high blood pressure, have been since 2016. I was diagnosed with osteopenia T score -1.1, in 2021 and put on calcium and vitamin D. I also take Vitamin K2 to help with the calcium absorption. I recently had an annual blood pressure review and although it's not gone up, it's still

Remedy that works for me
Hi guys. Haven't been on here in a long time but recently I seem to have come across a combination of meds & supplements that really seem to have worked for me. So I've had IBS for over 30 years (mainly IBS C but regular episodes of IBS D too) and more or less managed it for many years, up until entering

That was scary
Just done my first b12 injection. I hate needles so that was terrifying. Having a few stingy sensations in my tummy, I hope that's normal

My Circumcision Journey, Treating Hypersensitivity and overall healing
8 months Post Circumcisions, Update on Hypersensitivity and Overall Changes Few months ago I made a post regarding extreme hypersensitivity post cut. When I logged in today, I found many messages who had same concern and want advice. Since I won't be able to reply all of them individually, I thought

Hi, In May 2021 I had the intrinsic factor blood test and my results were as follows. 89 u/ml. With a normal range of 0-24 u/ml. And the following notes. The presence of anti intrinsic factor antibodies together with a low vitamin B12 level is diagnostic of pernicious anaemia Does this make sense to

Ringing in Ear
Hi, I read this forum every day, and always have a takeaway from it about something I didn't know, so I'm hoping the group can help me with this new, delightful (ha!) ringing in my left ear that started about six weeks ago. I saw an ENT on Tuesday, and was diagnosed with Tinnitus. I had an audiogram

Another Study Suggests Taking Vitamin B2 and B7
A new study compared the gut microbiota of people with Parkinson’s disease in five countries. Researchers found that although people from each country had different gut bacteria, all those with Parkinson’s had fewer bacteria that make vitamins B2 (riboflavin) and B7 (biotin). https://www.medicalnewstoday.com

Update
Hi everyone just to update on my T3, I had to come off it, it was definitely not agreeing with me. I went on it first back in Dec. 23 and started by quarter of pill after a few weeks half but I started to get very distressing breathlessness and I have Asthma so I knew this was a very different breathlessness

momograms do they affect b12 levels
hello My friends, I have to go get a mamogram soon and during this b12 recovery I've read that certain procedures can use up our b12. I was wondering if anyone had a problem with a mamogram? thank you, Rosina

Cortisol help please
Been feeling really tired for about 6 months and trying to work out why. The last thing I had added before this was testosterone to existing HRT, so I stopped that again about 4 months ago, so not an effect of that now. I take T3 only, have not changed dose for some time and my results are towards top

Have I cardiac haemolytic anaemia or haven't I?
I have been borderline anaemic for some years and it seems that my TAVI a year ago and the consequent medication may have pushed me over the threshold. On May 31 a haematologist wrote to my GP following tests on
March 5
to say that "it is likely [that I have] cardiac haemolytic anaemia". But

Hello!
Hey folks, Not entirely sure where to start here, first post. - I recently had a cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal) due to some on-going issues which were identified as gallstones. - During this, and also backed up by biopsy/blood tests it seems I have some issues going on with my liver L3 fibrosis
