momograms do they affect b12 levels

hello My friends,

I have to go get a mamogram soon and during this b12 recovery I've read that certain procedures can use up our b12. I was wondering if anyone had a problem with a mamogram?

thank you,

Rosina

Yes JesusMercy60,

It will use up our B12. You will commute via car, bus, walking to a hospital or clinic for the mammogram. You will sit in the waiting room. You will have your breasts x-rayed in rather awkward positions. Then you will commute home.

Everything uses up B12. It is called metabolism.

I've had several and have had no problem at all.

Hello again,

I would say it doesnt affect your B12 production or metabolism at all.

The mammogram "press" the nurse does for you - up against the xray machine screen- is uncomfortable for some, and its all a bit of a faff. But the xrays levels used today are very very very safe, results follow in 5/6 working days usually.

Good morning All,

wow thank you for your replies, well that makes me feel better going into this. It will be an out of town trip, I live in a small town and have no equipment here for mammograms. so I will prepare for it when it comes.

thank you again,

Rosina

Hi Rosina,

I have had many of these types of xrays plus others that were more intrusive and have been absolutely fine.

Safe journey. 💐
