Lupus and stress

Graves, colds and sinusitis
Hi folks. I’m just wondering if anyone else has found it’s taken your body a lot longer to recover with colds and sinusitis while having graves, as well as being impacted more severely symptomatically? I got a cold that lasted three weeks, then was okay for two days before getting sinusitis that’s now

Depression and not knowing what to do anymore.
Hi, I haven't posted here in atleast 3 years. I've been to scared to ask for help. I have major depression and PTSD. I don't go outside, because I'm to afraid of being attacked. I've been talking anti-depressants and anxiety medicine for several years. I just don't know how much more I can take. Literally

Polyhydramnios specifics
Hello, lovely lot. I'm new here. 33 weeks with baby number 4. I know there are a lot of posts about polyhydramnios, but I'm really looking for some specific details about your experiences if that's okay. As lots have said, the internet can be a bit scary and there I was at 4am googling frantically

Any gambling problems with Ropinirole
This is my first time posting and I'm curious to find out how many people have been effected by gambling problems associated with Ropinirole ( and other dopamine agonists ). My story: I've been on Ropinirole for approximately 18 years. Started on a low dose but eventually ended up on 12 mg extended release

FLU & preparing for transfer
Hi everyone I have my transfer of our only frozen embryo next week. I’m taking the medication to prepare currently. Problem is I have the flu. Full of cold, sneezing, coughing lots of mucous etc… feel awful! Hopefully doesn’t turn into an ear or chest infection 😷😩 Will this effect negatively? What

Feeling so cold !!!!
Hi all - My lupus seems to have taken a new turn. I've had intermittent raynauds since I was first diagnosed a few years ago, but recently I am experiencing really pronounced problems with temperature regulation to such a degree that I dread climbing out of bed in the morning - so coooold and often

Synarel is a troll! Anyone relate?
Hello likeminded travellers! I’m starting my 6th IVF cycle shortly. It’s been tough but I remain optimistic. Anyway, I’ve been snorting 4 shots daily of synarel for 2 months - now we’ve increased to 6 shots per day. I appreciate that it works - and it’s helping me to eventually / hopefully fall pregnant

Effects of Stress
From my experience, I believe stress is a major contributor to developing PD. Almost everyone experiences stress but some deal with it better than others—that’s why not everyone develops PD. You can learn techniques to cope with stress or avoid/eliminate the source, but by the time you identify the symptoms

Is chronic stress the major cause of Parkinson's?
No doubt genetics and environmental factors are the suspected causes of Parkinson's, one of the most important catalyst is chronic stress. This is the least discussed area among the available literature. The stress may be due to bad relationship, bad working environment at job place, financial problems

Baby it’s cold outside
At the risk of sounding like one of Terry Wogan’s listeners ‘Is it just me?!’ But I can’t take the cold anymore I’m on Hydroxycarbamide (500mg weekdays and 1000mg weekends) Apixaban 5mg per day I’ve got ET Jak 2 . Everyone I work with seem to be fine with low temperatures but I’m SO COLD! Solidarity

Oxycodone and Laxative
I have just started on Oxycodone to replace Oramorph... 5 mg fast relief . Suffering from Bladder Camcer. Problem is that I then need a laxative because both of the above make me constipated. Oxycodone appears not to react well with Dulcosoft laxative. Anyone any suggestions ?
