Has anyone here tried the statin Repatha (Evolocumab) jabs to lower cholesterol, instead of oral statins? If so, what was your experience and was there any influence on your AF or other heart issues? Thank you!

Alp started going up after being started on Evenity and Repatha Anyone else have this experience?

hello everyone, I’ve been asked to take repatha as I can’t tolerate statins. Has anyone had experience of Repatha? I am a bit fearful of injecting myself with a drug. I try to keep well with exercise, diet, and supplements.

Unfortunatley I have found that my body can't tolerate statins or reptha injections although I really need to get my high cholesterol reduced. Very frightened as i really do need something to reduced my risks. Anyone else experiencing this? What medication do you take instead? Thank you

Is that low PSA a result of a synergy of the metformin/atorvastatin/Repatha? Dunno, but my medical oncologist thought it was possible. I guess we'll see with my next blood test if it holds at this new lower number.

has anyone been prescribed the Repatha autoinjector for their cholesterol treatment. just curious. My PCP and my Cardiologist think it will be beneficial.....but i was just curious as to whether anyone 1) has been on it and 2) had any complications

Is anyone taking Repatha injections to lower cholesterol? . I had my first injection two weeks ago and within days I developed lower back pain. I know it is one of the side effects and believe me I’ve had them all!!!

I have been using Repatha for over a year to reduce my cholesterol which is due to some genetic mutations. It is working well but my consultant suggested integrating this treatment with NILEMBDO for a month at least and see if I am ok with it.

Hi everyone, just a question is anyone else on regather? Went to collect mine today from the pharmacy and was told this has been discontinued. I was what the alternative was.

Anyone else on repatha, how do you get on giving yourself jabs? I'm fine with needles just not sure about doing it to myself. Also what do you do if you go away and need a jab, how do you take it with you on a plane , store it etc?

My personal experience is that by taking Repatha, a relatively new drug that lowers cholesterol dramatically --more than statins -- has increased my PSA doubling time to 18.8 months, from an initial 1 month!

My cardiologist wants me to start taking a drug, Repatha, a biologic one injects every 14 days. I would like to hear from people currently taking this drug. I am already on a biologic, Actemra that I inject weekly. Thank you in advance for any insight to this drug. Peggy

She wants me to inject Repatha a biologic every two weeks. I already inject Actemra weekly. I’m a bit hesitant to start a second biologic. My question is has anyone else had to inject repatha and how did it work for you. I am still on hydrocortisone tablets twice a day and Actemra weekly.

Numbness in both feet for the last 7 months....started prednisone about a year ago, Actemra weekly injection 13 weeks...are the numb feet due to prednisone or something else...glucose in the morning is about 100...taking glipzide for sugar, zedia and repatha for high cholesteral due to Actemra ...I have

Diagnosed in April or March 2022....PMR, then GCA...started at 10 mg pred., then 60 when they suspected GCA....biopsy was a few weeks after pred started and so was negative...in USA Also on Actemra (#12 tomorrow) weekly epi pen, and Repatha monthly injection for high cholesterol from Actemra....also

I am now on the Repatha injection self administered every 2 weeks, no side effects and cholesterol down to 1!
