Is anyone taking Repatha injections to lower cholesterol? . I had my first injection two weeks ago and within days I developed lower back pain. I know it is one of the side effects and believe me I’ve had them all!!! As I have to take the injection every two weeks, I wondered if the side effects continue as it is very debilitating.?
I have unstable angina, chronic Ischemic heart disease with 4 stents and take Rosuvastatin & Ezetimibe, bisoprolol and Ranexa.

Yes I’m on Rosuvastatin and Ezetimibe, highest dose. Rapetha is supposed to lower your LDL cholesterol by 60% which may mean I can come off the statins.
My cardiologist changed my statin at one point to Atorvastatin and my body couldn’t tolerate it (similar to the pain I have now) so I’m back to Rosuvastatin. I guess I’ll just have to persevere 😓. Thanks for your reply
I've been on it for 3 years and I've never been told that back pain could be a side-effect. The only side-effect I experienced was a snuffly nose the day after I took it, but that wore off after about 6 injections.
I also got the snuffly nose but good to know it stopped through time. Some side effects are short lasting so I’m hoping the back pain will go away. Thanks for your reply 😀
