Having my second stent fitted on Friday the 18th at least it’s not the 13th. Hoping all goes well let you know the outcome on Saturday.

ANTICOAGULANTS - HOW LONG ARE PEOPLE ON THEM AFTER STENTS
I have been on anticoagulants since I had my stent put in last year in July. Since then I have only see the cardiologist once because of the Covid. The prescription comes to an end in October. I am very pleased with that as I hate them. The make me feel quite ill. I am trying to get an appointment

Has anyone decided between CABG and a crush stent procedure (several stents lined back to back or one crushed so it can form a V)?
My dad had an angiogram this afternoon and the doctors are weighing these two options. I'm not familiar with these stent procedures and really worried about my dad. Any advice would be appreciated.

Is it possible to stent four arterial blockages in one angioplasty?
My dad (62) has at least four significant arterial blockages (over 70%) one of which is in his LAD. He's scheduled for an angioplasty tomorrow and possible stenting, but with so many blocks I'm worried they'll have to do CABG. Has anyone been in this situation and only treated it with stents and meds

Overlapping stents and chest pain niggles after exercise
My cardiologist is phoning me later today to discuss my intermittent chest pain niggles over the last nearly 2 weeks (at rest and with exercise). I eventually managed to get a copy of the notes from the cardiologist that performed my angioplasty and 4 stents. It said : "I placed a 2.5 *18mm Xience drug-eluting

Has anyone had hepatic artery narrowing?
Dear All, I am back here again absolutely dumbfounded. My husband had a chance CT scan which revealed narrowing of the artery join to the aorta (he had an aneurysm repaired some years ago). The team decided to get him in for a stent. Well, after a lot of deliberation and and hesitation. They did not

Feeling Tired....all the time.
Hi, I was diagnosed with Angina May 2019 and subsequently had a stent fitted. All was great pretty much straight away I was back to my normal self. I am quite active until recently working outdoors fulltime and keeping myself fit. I am on a variety of medication ie. Atorvastatins, Amplodipine, Bisoprolol

Muscle wasting
Hi all. My mum is 77 and had a heart attack and heart failure six months ago. They couldn’t put a stent in her blocked artery so she’s just managing off medication. It’s been a slow process but she’s doing okay. The one thing I’m worried about is that she looks to be losing all her muscle mass and actually

Blood clot after heart attack
Hi, I have just joined this community after my Husbands heart attack. He had the attack monday 31st and had 2 stents inserted, he was meant to be released from hospital Friday but they are now keeping him in probably until Wednesday. This is because he has a blood clot and he is now on warfarin.

Criteria for choosing non-emergency CABG?
My dad is scheduled for an angioplasty next week. His flow test and scans have revealed at least three significant blockages (over 70%) one of which is in his LAD. The doctors are planning to insert stents, but said the cath will give them a better sense of the blockages and if CABG is the better option

Will my dad be okay?
Hi all - I’m writing because I’m really worried about my dad (62 yrs). He’s been having some pain between his shoulder blades while exercising for a few months now. He went in to see his cardiologist last week, and came back with a calcium score of 2200 and an appointment for an angioplasty + at least
