Joint Pains

Slightly breathless and lightheaded
Hi I had an an angioplasty with a stent inserted to my LAD artery on 26 October 21. I had only had 2 episodes of what my cardiologist now thinks was angina and I also had burning pain lower neck/upper chest when walking fast. Since the angioplasty I find I'm more tired and find breathing harder when

Stenting my left Circumflex artery was unsuccessful
They were unable to stent my left circumflex artery via angioplasty 2 days ago. They would like to retry to drill out the plaque and then try stenting. How safe is this procedure?

Uric Acid stones
Chuck just had two kidney stones removed (one 17 mm and one 6 mm) and a stent inserted. Just got back the results and they are uric acid stones. Just read what can cause them on the dietary spectrum but wanted to find out if anyone else has had these on Xtandi, Eligard or Zometa? He’s had one before

Excessive menstrual bleeding
Hi, I'm new here after discovering I had a tight stenosis of my LAD artery last month. A big shock at 46. I had a stent inserted on 26/10/21 and am now on aspirin for life and Clopidogrel for 6 months. My last period was awful - on day 2, I leaked through super plus tampons and a sanitary towel plus

Slightly raised D-dimer post stent !!
3 weeks post stent I have a letter asking me to go for a CT Angiogram pulmonary this Sunday. I am somewhat surprised as the discharging doctor did not mention any of this, there is nothing on my discharge sheet and my GP knows nothing about it. The only hint was in the morning after my stent was fitted

Is it normal after HA & stent to still have intermittent discomfort in chest 4 months after the event?
Stemi, cardiac arrest, stent 4 months ago then was in persistent AFib until 2 weeks ago when had a cardio version. All other arteries in good nick. Don’t smoke not obese. 59yrs. From the event I’ve had stretching heaviness discomfort at times in the left side of chest. Comes and goes often fleeting.

I'm booked for an MRI Cardiac stress perfusion next week, what are your experiences of these scans?
I had a stent in May and was really well until September when my Angina returned with attitude. My Naproxen has been increased to 20 mg twice a day and 2.5mg Bisoprolal added. I'm experiencing daily pain and have had a couple of visits to A&E when the pain spread to my neck and jaw.

New medication given
Hi all. My mum had a heart attack and heart failure in Feb 2020. She didn’t have a stent fitted and is on lots of different tablets to control everything. She has regular check ups with the heart failure nurse and after having another stint in hospital earlier this year with her lungs getting fluid on

Chronic back pain and pain relief?
Hi all Looking for some advice re pain killers for awful lower backache. I had a stent fitted in my LAD a year ago and on the usual meds ie Ticagrelor, Atorvastatin, Aspirin. Everything I read it seems I shouldn’t take ibuprofen only paracetamol which doesn’t touch the pain. Been seeing an osteopath

Isosobride mononitrate
Had cabg x 3 2 years ago. 1 yr later discovered a problem with a 4th artery. Too narrow to stent. Given Ranexa to control angina type episode. Worked for about a year although I’ve been having hearing problems so when I had another episode didn’t want to increase it so meds changed to the isosobride
