Not sure what to do
I had a Heart attack on the 22/11/23 & got home on the 24/11/23. I had 1 stent fitted & my heart got a lot of damage. I have had amazing medical support with a common theme of rest completely for a week, then driving & work can be introduced. At this moment in time that seems a long way away. If anyone

I'm loosing the will to carry on!!!
I am really unwell right now an loosing the will to carry on. Know I should seek some medical help but who do I go to for help? Honestly, over the past 18 months I have had to fight to get the help I needed via the NHS. What a battle that was. Last week, had severe palpitations lasting 6 hours which

61 and fit, healthy, within BMI but still had a heart attack. Clot removed and stent fitted (in 30 minutes - incredible work !). As I now sit at home I have to ask about driving. The DVLA website; https://www.gov.uk/heart-attacks-and-driving , simply says talk to your doctor and wait four weeks

Post stent weakness
So I had my stent for angina last July. It did not make much difference and I have been put onto Ranexa along with aspirin, clopidogrel, atorvastatin, bisoprolol, amlopidine, lansoprazole and finasteride. The Ranexa seems to have done the trick and the main angina symptom, burning chest sensation when

Amlodipine caused irregular heart beats
Recently prescribed Amlodipine 10mg after being told I need one stent after angiogram. I don't have high blood pressure and was told if I felt dizzy or faint to stop taking it as have moderate aortic stenosis. 6 hours after taking the second pill I had palpitations, irregular heart beats and my blood

Palpitations after Heart Attack
Hello, I had a heart attack 5 days ago and have had a stent put into the blocked artery. Last night I experienced heart palpitations which woke me up and then I was so anxious I couldn’t sleep. Is this normal ? Should I visit the doctor ? Thanks in advance 🙏

stent
I had a stent fitted after a heart attack on 29th August. As I have returned to work part time I am doing a bit more. Is it normal to feel breathless?

angioplasty
I am 66 I am going for an angioplasty on the 27th November with the possibility of a stent in LAD. Very nervous. I have had LBBB since in my early 30’s so always got a slight tight chest on hills, i had an angiogram in 2012 and an MRI I was put on Bisoprolol, statins and ramipril after this. Dosage reduced

incredibly lucky
I feel so incredibly lucky after reading some of your stories. I had a HA 5 yrs ago, was told that if someone has to have a HA they would want one like yours? It was explained to me that it was on the right side and very low down?? I stayed overnight in hospital and the first time I saw a consultant

Flu Jab and Heart Failure
Hi All, New on here, just wondering whether anyone has had the flu jab after being diagnosed with Heart Failure? I have an Ejection Fraction between 30%-35%. I had 1 stent in the LAD in July. Had angina as well. Is it advisable to have the flu jab?
