I am 42 M ,

I had a blockage of 95% in Lad and it was stented 45 days ago and that time my total cholesterol was 200 and ldl 150 triglycerides 150 ! I had left arm pain and body pain for

6 hrs at home then I went to hospital and was my bP was 80/50 so doc told to stenting be done !

From then I was on vasagalor 90 twice and aspirin in day and Rosuvastatin 10 and 0.5 mg clonezepma for sleep!

!after this meds in a week I got severe dizziness lightheaded confusion blurred vision breathless like !

So then doc changed my meds to clopitab and aspirin in day 75 mg as maintenance dose and rosuvastin 10 in night !

But agian my I feel the same

Dizziness and blurred vision and sick and unable to take meds ! The day I avoid this for 2 days I feel good and the day I start then again I feel worst !so finally I am confused And stoped this meds ! Now my Blood tests are :-

LDL 73

Triglycerides 8

Total cholesterol 130

My Heamogolobin is 14.5

I am eating very clean vegetables in olive oil and chicken soup for proteins and fruits !

I have only stent in lad I know it’s main artery !

But what to do if u can’t tolerate any blood thinners anti plates !

And do we feel withdrawals from stoping the blood thinners anti plates like weak body hevay head for few days !

And I am planning for taking herbal syrups for thinning blood instead of this statism and anti platelets !

Yes I don’t have diabetes thyroid and also my kidney functions are good !

And all this blockages happened due to bad lifestyles and eating habits last 15 yrs !

Although you appear to have complex health and medication issues which are causing you problems, and which may be related, you should not change or stop taking medication without the agreement and input of your GP. People on here are not medical professionals, with only a few exceptions, and their advice, although helpful, is not a substitute for a dialogue with the physician who is responsible for your care

Note, opinions and suggestions only, always check for interactions, and check with your doctor first before embarking on any changes. This is not medical advice.

You need to run A/B testing on every medicine, to work out which one/s are affecting you, whenever i introduce a new prescription medicine, or supplement, I don't change anything for a month, and record blood pressures, and make notes on any changes , i look for things like, headaches, skin rashes, stomach issues, nerve or tingling sensations, once you have found the cuplrit, for each class of medicine statin, anti clotting there are many available,

So you should be able to resolve it, without missing out on a medicine.

You have my sympathy as I have also had debilitating symptoms after having a stent inserted.

I have had periods of dizzyness and feeling faint since a stent was inserted in July. I stopped the statins after discussing with the cardiac nurse and cardiologist as I was developing peripheral nuropathy. The cardiologist advised stopping the statin for three weeks, if it resoled the problem introduce another which I did and I developed hot feelings in my feet again so I stopped all statins. They changed one anti platelet drug and it made no difference. They are testing to see if I have irregular heartbeats ot widely flutuating blood pressure which I definitly had at one point. My GP is offering 3 potential diagnosis:

1 flutuating blood pressure which they will test fot

2 intermitent irregular heart beats, ie atrial fibulation which they wi;; test for

3 taking time to recover from the slight damage to the heart which resulted in uncontrolled angina and was the reason for the stent being inserted.

I guess my symptoms might be caused by the antiplatelet drugs too.

Your symptoms could be caused by one of the drugs or a combination or be caused by something else although its likely it is one or a combination of the drugs. As the antiplatelets are to reduce the risk of clots forming in the stent in the first few months after insertion I suggest going back to cardiology or maybe your GP and asking to try reintroducing one drug at a time, maybe try for three weeks before introducing another and seeing what happens.

Whatever you decide I recomend going back to cardiology and trying to find a nurse or doctor who you like to discuss things with and find a way forward. I think you need a clear explanation of what the potential benefits of each drug is so you can decide if you want to try them again but this time, if you do decide to take one or more again, with a bit more care and monitoring.

Congratulations on making drastic and healthy lifestle changes.
