back InJuly I had a heart attack then a stent put in. 3 months later I am finding I get short of breath and blood pressure keeps going up . I have done cardiac gym and back to work. I seen the doctor who has got me to test my blood pressure twice a day for a week, I am on medication for my heart , is it a common thing for blood pressure, and being out of breath

heart attack
Yes I would say its a common thing. Everyone is different of course but the heart damaged and recovery etc took me a long time to get to a fairly normal position. I still haven't gone back to fitness training after 3 years as my case was severe. I would say things should Improve as time goes on...if things are worsening then I would get it looked at sooner than later.
Humidity has a big impact on the heart. Its worth googling. Basically it makes the heart work harder. With all the rain we have had the last few months, the humidity has been very high.
I live near the coast so it is especially high. In the house it should ideally be 30-50% or at most 60%. However in our Northern maritime climate it is very often more than that causing us to struggle. Check your hygrometer-they can be bought very cheaply-but if you are concerned do consult your GP
If you google BBC weather then put in your location you will get a forecast for today and the next 10 days for your area. . If you click on one of the specific hours it will give humidity. Currently at 7AM here on the south Coast it is 95% and raining.
I am fairly short of breath. indoors it is 69%. In the bedroom just vacated it was 72%.
My partner suffered with breathlessness at random times after his HA and stent procedure. It would come on while he was resting or even asleep. After 6 months (and various visits to GPs) he saw his cardiologist who said it might be a side effect of Ticagrelor so he has been changed to Clopidogrel and touch wood his breathlessness seems to have improved.
