Paget’s Disease
My Alkaline Phosphotase levels are elevated and I know the endrocronoglist is going to recommend Fosomax or
Reclast
. Anyone here with Paget’s? Treatment options? Thank you for any help you can give!

Should I take Reclast?
I am concerned about taking
Reclast
. Any thoughts from anyone ? My bone density is in the -2. range. Is it more extreme than Fososmax? Just can't make up my mind about it because of the side affects. And Dr, thinks I definitely should.

Is this prescription too high?
Good morning, concerned that Rheumatologist has given me a prescription for Calciferol 20,000 IU's = 500 micrograms which I have to take three days a week for five weeks prior to
Reclast
infusion. It gives me severe indigestion and I feel incredibly sick, is this dose too high?

Can I have dental braces if I took Reclast?
Does anyone know if I can ever get "Invisalign" (or similar dental braces)if I had took
Reclast
Infusions? I was told not to do Invisalign if I had taken
Reclast
. There is a major risk of necrosis of the jaw. I wonder if there is a time period to wait after last inusion or is it forever?

COVID-19 vaccine guidance for those getting osteoporosis treatment
(This includes
Reclast
and Boniva.) - "We recommend an interval of 4-7 days between treatment with denosumab and COVID-19 vaccination to allow for the potential occurrence of injection site reactions with either treatment." (Denosumab is aka Prolia.)

Reclast taken intravenously to slow down bone loss
Has anyone been administered with this, or similar? I believe this is a once a year treatment for those suffering from osteoporosis, or at high risk. It would be interesting to hear anyone's experience, good or bad. Thanks

Reclast for osteoporosis as CLL patient
Hi Folks, I had a
Reclast
injection last year to help with weak bones. It may be completely unrelated, but shortly after my CLL worsened, requiring treatment. I had been on W & W. Wondering if anyone else had this experience? Thanks.

Reclast and dental extractions
My 92-year-old father is on
Reclast
and just had his second annual injection. He has two infected teeth and needs extractions as well as new dentures which will include removing some of what has already been done.

Boniva with side effects or something else?
Rheumatologist wants to switch to
Reclast
which is an injection that's only done once per year. My back/arm pain is pain level 4 to 7. It's miserable but I can function. A tx that lasts 1 year -
Reclast
seems like bad idea. What if I have worse symptoms and they last a year?

Are there any positive reviews on Reclast infusion?
I have been prescribed the
Reclast
infusion as I have acid reflux and can't take pills. I am 70. I have done a lot of research and find so many negative reviews of this treatment. I have Parkinsons and already take a lot of medication and have a lot of pain.
