I am just starting Xtandi, was on Bicalutamide for a month, Had my first Lupron Infusion and Reclast shot... Was DX about 8 weeks ago with stage 4 Prostate cancer so am just starting the fight. I Am 78 and in ok shape so let's see where this leads. My PSA was 538 now 49. so that I feel progress.
So far no adverse reaction but from what I read it doesn't start at once. If someone has advise let me know.

Results to xtandi with me were cumulative. Just keep track of how you are doing and if you get to weak or unbalanced cut dosage and see how you do... I stayed on full dose until I was a complete invalid and have lasting neuropathy from xtandi/ docetaxel combination followed by xtandi alone.... No T acct orchiectomy instead of lupron..
Hello, I have been on Xtandi (enzalutamide) since September 2017 (three years eight months). So far no serious side effects although some neuropathy in right foot. Take the pills just before bed time to reduce the fatigue. Hope that helps!
Iโve been on Xtandi for over five years. For me side effects have been cumulative, fatigue, cognitive issues, headaches, BP issues etc. Two years ago my MO recommended that I reduce the dose to 80mg to reduce SEโs since my PSA has been undetectable for a few years now. That has seemed to help however SEโs are still significant but tolerable. It remains effective at that lower dose.As mentioned above, take in the evening.
I am surprised that you havenโt done Docetaxel, 6 doses to start, every 3 weeks, that attacks the Mets quickly and lowers the PSA. The side effects are too bad except for baldness. I was told that I had a pretty head!
Why only one month on casodex? Did you fail it? I have been on xtandi for 4+ years some side effects have dissipated, i.e. tiring. I am experiencing some brain fog, but that could be old age.
