I have been prescribed Armour 60mg to take 1.5 grains am and 1 grain In the afternoon. This replaces 100mg levo and 20mg Lio. I felt good for a week and now in week 3 I am feeling bad with old symptoms returning. is this usual in the short term? Thank you

This is my first time I’m posting on this forum. I had Graves’ disease was on carbimozle. 2017 diagnosed. Relapsed 2021. I had my full thyroidectomy nearly 8 weeks ago. After my surgery I had tingling sensation on my face and arms within 10 hours of the surgery whilst in hospital. Was given Calcichew

Too much levo or T3?
I’ve been on a 50mcg levo dose for just over 6 weeks and introduced t3 at 3mcg increasing up to 9mcg over that time. I was previously taking 2-3 metavive I per day but didn’t feel right so moved to levo. I’ve taken levo before and didn’t have great results as it made me very lightheaded, foggy and tired

Update on “Must my NHS GP prescribe Levothyroxine?”
First of all, thank you to everyone who commented on my post at the weekend. https://healthunlocked.com/thyroiduk/posts/150014376/must-my-nhs-gp-prescribe-levothyroxine My appointment today got switched from a regular GP to the Managing Partner, for which I was grateful, as I felt if she wouldn’t

Getting ready to begin T3... YAY... but...
I found a swell Endo (unwilling to wait 6-12 months for the NHS referral), and he's prescribing Tybon Henning 20mcg tablets to chop up. I currently take 75mcg Levo and have done so for 20+ years. I feel like a slug, gained about two stone in the past 3 years, have chronic pain, no libido, a bit depressed

Advice Pls
Having been put on a trial of T3 because I don't convert levo very well, I have my first blood test results back today. Six weeks in. I following SD's/this forum's advice on how to get them done. Normal NHS ranges rather than Medichecks or other private labs. Free T3: 5.7 Free T4: 20.5 Serum TSH

Being anxious about Hypothyroidism
In about May 2023 I was sent as a matter of urgency to a doctor (I had just changed surgery due to moving, but I don't have much of a history of bothering with doctors anyway) because I had a pre-op medical (bloods, weight, heart etc) and a nurse discovered a thyroid problem. So I went to the doctors

Help with supplements please
On the advice of greygoose who has said that my B12 is dangerously low despite being in the "normal" range, I'm posting to ask how I should be supplementing and what brands of supplements people recommend. This is on the basis that whilst my energy levels are slightly improved on the levo, my neurological

Can anyone make sense of these blood results?
I have been hypothyroid for 4 years, and until now have been happy on a stable dose of 75mg levothyroxine and 20mg liothyronine. In March of this year, I suffered an awful episode of severe hyperthyroid symptoms and had to temporarily stop all thyroid meds. Seven months later, and I still cannot get

Anyone added in some metavive with their Levo? Still don’t feel 100% but blood results look good.
Hi there I’m almost optimally treated now with levothyroxine but still don’t feel 100%.. The gym used to energise me now I just feel exhausted the day after..I’ve radically changed my diet and I don’t drink alcohol very much either. My brain fog is a lot better but energy and libido still not what it

Not obvious query
This question applies to Hashimottos and it may be a strange one but I can't find the answer anywhere on the Internet. For those that have Hashimottos does it eventually get to the stage where our antibodies completely destroy the thyroid and then we are left on a stable dose of levothyroxine without
