Hi everyone. Like many on here my T3 low, my GP quite ignorant and an NHS Endo I saw last year (just so GP would give an increase in Levo!) discharged me after first visit before I’d even had the blood tests she recommended! Help with Medicheck results
I have been on 75mcg for a number of years since having a lobectomy and isthmusectomy in 2015. This was reduced from 100mcg in 2019 following TFT (TSH 0.02) even though I felt well on this dose. I have been feeling very fatigued and achy for a while and had a blood test by the GP in January 2023 for

T3 only treatment experiences please
Hello, Looking to hear from anyone that has tried t3 only treatment? It’s been suggested I try it. I have PCOS which can cause thyroid hormone resistance which maybe explains why T4 at any dose causes awful issues and my t3 doesn’t budge at all. My t4 before starting levo has always been fine &

I'm on NDT. It's taken almost a year to get to this point, but last week I moved up to 2+3/4 Grains of NDT (Armour) from 2.5 grains after a blood test. TSH - 3.78 FT4 - 14.4 Range 12-22, (24%) FT3 - 4.7 Range 3.1-6.3, (50%) For the first time the increase has not caused me problems. I usually suffer

Wockhardt supply issue?
Is anyone aware of a supply issue in UK of Wockhardt Levothyroxine? I was unable to fulfil my usual prescription in England last week, and have faced the same problem attempting to get it instead in Wales this week, with only Teva or Accord offered. A coincidence perhaps with an unlucky choice of pharmacies

Results Advice
Hi I’m looking for some advice on my recent bloods please, since my last test I dropped my levo back to 100mg a day and increased my lio by 5mg so I’m a little confused as to why my T3 has dropped🤷♀️the only thing I can think of is that I’ve been using Morningside lio for my 10mg dose in the morning

Advice please, re sourcing/dose T3 in England, UK
I've a long history of being on Levothyroxine, for Hypothyroidism. I only feel well when on 150mcgs, most likely due to poor conversion T4 to T3, which I've more recently discovered, after private blood tests and advice on here. So, a few months ago, GP decided my T4 levels were much too high to accept

High cholesterol & snoring?
Two things I'm concerned about & need to chat or at least have others opinions 🤔1st I snore badly hubby getting really upset as I won't discuss with doc, don't think they can help & I admit once I'm asleep I know nothing becoming a big problem, we've started sleeping in separate rooms/ plus arguments

Study to help patients manage their underactive thyroid
Just saw this and thought both that it is interesting it is being done. And, secondly, wondered if any would be willing to take part. I've scan read the information about the study and it appears that there is no geographical limit (please reply to let me know if I am wrong!) - just that you need to
