liquid levothyroxine

I have recently been put on levothyroxine 50mcg as my blood tests came back again that my thyroid was not working properly. The doctor put me on these tablets and I constantly coughing like a dry hacking cough, I have burning heartburn which I mentioned to him and asked to change to liquid... My dr replied ;Liquid formula will be just the same just take a Proton Pump inhibitor like that is going to help when they are an interaction to levothyroxine. I am also experiencing restless legs which I don't like.

Has anyone managed to get Levothyroxine on the NHS or with a private prescription. I will have to stop taking them if they continue. This will be my third week on them and they are TEVA brand.

Yes, I have only just found out they do Liquid levothyroxine, there is a long discussion on here about the different brand names.
