Taking your levo too close to the blood draw would not affect your TSH nor your cholesterol. Or have I misunderstood? 🤔

The cholesterol appears to have gone up over the period from June until the test in October .
Its currently is back to where it was before the higher dose I’d been taking .
Proves the point possibly ?! about the effect of the thyroid hormone on cholesterol !

Well, we know that high cholesterol is a symptom of low T3. Did you have your FT3 tested?

Yes I did. It show it below range in the last test.

That's why your cholesterol is high, then.

yes. I am setting back where I was ok despite doctors wanting me on the lower dose , I did try ! No more though !!

oh yeah. The comment on the recent test was that you may have a mild form overactive thyroid !! How was that opinion arrived at ??
No I didn’t get a badge 😄😄

Silly me .. of course it's the Doctor who get's the "I got TSH in range" badge , not the patient

Left hand. 75mcg levo and 5mcg lio
right hand results……62mcg levo only?
left hand results show Ft4 about correct ….but Ft3 still too low…needing dose INCREASE to 2 doses x 5mcg per day ….retest in 6-8 weeks
Right hand results ….Ft3 below range, Ft4 too low (and would have been even lower if left 24 hours before test)
…..TSH doesn’t respond correctly to these results…

That’s right SD. Test as you said
Just to conform to doctors !
I will get back to previous dose and continue to ‘fight the fight’ if challenged again .
Maybe one doc has asked how I am !
I find it bizarre!

On almost any dose of T3 TSH will be extremely low or suppressed.
Ft3 at least 50-60% through range or higher
You need an endocrinologist who understands this
Roughly where in U.K. are you

Hi SD. I am in the South West . I am so wary of doctors after thyroidectomy I have never seen one that doesn’t focus on the TSH despite T4 And T3 Low in range always .
On the last blood test shown on the first page the one on the right . The comment was. ‘ It shows you msg have a mild form of HyPER thyroidism !! Where are the getting these docs from. !!!
I give up .
