Atrophied Thyroid....
Hi All, I looking for advice again! After being ill over Christmas and convinced it was my medication, coming off everything bar my 100mg Levothyroxine, symptoms didn't improve. T3/T4 HRT Meds before surgery?
Hello lovely people, i hope everyone is managing to catch up on the long overdue sun ;) Sadly, my gynaecologist has found an ovarian tumour which needs to be removed and biopsied. Recovery from this will take between 6-8 weeks. I am in really good health otherwise but do take 150mg Levo and 45mg Liothyronine

What to do about lower than expected test results?
I’d value some advice about what to do regarding my most recent test results: TSH: 0.02 (0.27 - 4.2) FT3: 4.6 (3.1 - 6.8) 40.5 % FT4: 18 (12 - 22) 60% This was on 125mcg Levo five time a week; 100mcg twice a week and 10mcg of Lio a day. Test done per guidelines here. I reduced it from 125mcg Levo

For anyone who is on T3 only... When did you realise you needed it?
Hi everyone. I've been on a real journey since January with Hashimoto's. I started on levothyroxine and it made me feel a lot worse. I started seeing a private thyroid doctor who looked at my bloods and saw my T3 had dropped on levo, and with my symptoms she decided levo was not right for me and put

Shall I raise my Levo
I’ve been on 115mcg of T4 now for around 3 months. For one month I did the carnivore/keto diet with a little T3 but it was so hard to stick to. I’ve been eating normally again with no T3 now for about 2-3 weeks. My levels are still quite low so I’m thinking of going up to 125mcg per day does this sound

Antihistamines
How long do I have to wait, after levo, to take antihistamines? I had been taking them in the afternoon without an issue, but in these last 2-3 weeks that is too long to wait.

Results Advice
Hi I’m looking for some feedback on my recent blood results please. Test was done before 9am,and before meds, with last dose of levo 24 hrs before and last dose of lio 9.5 hrs before. I currently take 100’g of levo and 20mg of lio(split into three doses throughout the day) I actually can’t believe

T3 battles
I’m on T3 only, taking 30mcg in one dose daily. Spoke to the endocrinologist this morning and after explaining to her that the reason I don’t take levothyroxine is because it made me far worse she said she’s never heard anyone that’s happened to. I told her I currently have symptoms of being under medicated

Heart rate after levothyroxine increase
Hello all :) I recently got myself a private endocrinologist appointment after being increasingly frustrated by GPs being dismissive, and not wanting to increase my levothyroxine as my levels were "normal" despite still experiencing a lot of symptoms. I'm so glad I did, because she was very kind, completely

My Endo Consultation Disaster…. No T3 for me.
Hello everyone, feeling like I want to scream into a pillow this morning! I had my private consultation yesterday and not only wouldn’t he prescribe me any T3, he is also going to write to my GP to reduce my Levo prescription!! So it was all a bit of a disaster really. I showed him my Blue Horizon
