DIM\Tumeric
Just started T3 about 2 weeks ago (already feeling much better). My question is do I need to wait a specific time between these medications? Taking the DIM along with Estadiol/Testosterone/Progesterone/DHEA troches due to full hysterectomy in 2007. Thank you!

Zoladex experience
Hey all, I’m on the waiting list for a hysterectomy as I have adenomyosis, fibroids and polycystic ovaries. Not sure if I have endo too. I was put on the list in January and the wait was 5 months. I was put on Zoladex which was meant to stop my pain and heavy bleeding as I’m anaemic now too and

Hysterectomy after long term zoladex?
Hi there, I’ve been on zoladex for coming up 6 years now and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done for my endo. I have little to no symptoms but the one thing I can’t stand is being attached to my drs every 4 weeks. Can get tricky with work and holidays. I want to opt for a hysterectomy and just wondered

Lansoprazole and prednisolone
At a medication review last week, the pharmacist at my local GP surgery mentioned that I should perhaps be taking lansoprazole to protect my stomach so that has now been added to my increasing list of medications. As a bit of background, I was diagnosed with PMR in November 2022 and put on 15mg prednisolone

Long term side effects from salvage radiation after radical prostatectomy
Hi folks, I'm considering salvage radiation (~34 treatments) after a prostatectomy where the PSA didn't drop below .2. I'd like to get a feel for how common the long term side effects of Salvage radiation (to bladder, bowel, hemorrhoids, etc.) are, by hearing your experiences. Thanks in advance.

Hysterectomy in 20’s
Hi all, I wondering who has had any successful experiences in getting a hysterectomy in their 20s. I have had many ultrasounds previously but after going private my ultrasound with gynaecologist showed a lot of serious issues and he said there and then I have endo (which shocked me). I was due to

Would appreciate hearing from people going through similar?
Hi I had a total hysterectomy a year ago - including ovaries, the whole lot. For a while I felt fine, then gradually struggled to breath, raspy throat, lack of energy, breathless, it got worse and was admitted to hospital. When I came home I got estrogen patches, am now on 25 mg and felt much better

buprenorphine patch - any advice?
Hello, my GP has agreed to prescribe me the buprenorphine patch 5mg starting from Monday. He will not prescribe tablets at this point - he feels the patch will give me better coverage for both the pain in my joints and also my chronic restless legs and will counter the continual withdrawal type issues

Help needed....
I'm so confused. I have to have incision site hernia surgery on a hysterectomy scar. My surgeon wants me to lose weight before I do. In Feb. I started Keto. I was scared straight about the hernia surgery. In one month I lost 18 lbs. THEN, my doctor scared me straight again. Although she was glad about

Going NHS/ Private consult after hysterectomy..advice needed
Hi all, In a nutshell...At age 36 I went in for surgey to remove a pesky fibroid that was bothering me for a some time. As there were complications during the surgery they had to go and remove my uterus to stop the bleeding, so it turned out into a hysterectomy. (tubes are also out, but still have

6 weeks post excision surgery and still can’t walk far.
Hi, I’m 42 years old and I had a laparoscopy with four incisions 6 weeks ago. The surgeon said endo was severe and excised it from all of my reproductive organs and from my bladder, pelvic ligaments and an artery. They also removed endo cysts from both ovaries. Apparently everything was stuck together

abdominal pain with PD catheter
Since having a PD catheter placed 4 months ago I keep getting episodes of lower abdominal pain. The pain is deep, intermittent, and sometimes severe enough that I have gone to the emergency room. But labs and scans find nothing wrong. I’m not doing dialysis yet, since GFR is sitting at 15. I am on a

bladder neck invasion. Can it be radiated?
My husband had radical prostatectomy last week and the pathology report came back with “bladder neck invasion present”, in” right mid and superior posterior and left and right bladder neck”. I’m wondering is it possible to radiate that area after he heals from surgery? He’s a gleason 9/10 and 50 years

...ditto from Dr Morgentaler. Its astonishing that we have been treated with a regime that is based on the published results of one man, 60 years after the fact. Its said that it takes 50 years to get a bad idea out of medicine and 100 to get a good one introduced...I think they were off on the latter
