PVCs flutters daily
I've suffered from heart flutters since my mid 20s now I'm in my late 30s. I've had multiple cardiology visits, ekgs, heart scans, and they've only found mild regurgitation of my valves. Have never taken any medication for the issue because before, they would come and go. However, this year since about

Changing from Sotalol to Flecaine side effects. Who has made this change too?
Hello I changed from Sotalol 80x2 a day to Flecaine 200 mg slow release and 3.75 mg Bisoprolol today because I was having more frequent Afib ( Paroxysmal) episodes and a lot of
PVC
and PAC's . I've just had a few seconds of a hammering heart but feel fine.

Four months on Trimbow & Oramorph.
Hi Folks. Just a bit of an update from me. I have been on the three in one inhaler Trimbow for Four months now and Oramorph for the same period. Today, I had my yearly review with the practice nurse. I was all prepared for the usual exhausting tests on the computer attached Spirometer but, low and behold

Do PVCs+valve problem lead to heart failure?
I’m hoping someone out there might be able to give me some reassurance and may be going through something similar. I’ve had PVCs for years and have Mitral valve regurgitation too (mild to moderate). I’ve been taking Verapamil and Flecainide for 5 years but have decided to have an ablation. I’m really

Dyspnea when at rest?
I have been diagnosed with mild copd 84% fev1 after bronchodilator! I also have asthma! I seem to be suffering from breathlessness when at rest but not seem to have much issues when exercising. I.e. i can run 10 Miles ok. It also disappears when I'm distracted does this sound like anyone elses symptoms

Update
To all those that wished us well for littleun’s first appointment at the RBH on Monday, I just wanted to let you know the outcome. Her fev1 was down to 47% and she very helpfully brought up some disgusting, blood streaked sputum, at which point our new named consultant phoned the bed manager in front

Had my spirometry this a.m.
Interesting my Fev1 stayed basically the same as 16 mths ago at 25%. My DLCO went down from 69 to 60. It was 92 in January of 2010. It really doesn’t look like things have dropped much at all. However, my shortness of breath I feel has gotten much worse in the last 16 months. All I can attribute

First doctor visit this year
Went to my pulmonologist for annual checkup today. I have not been feeling well, although exercising a good bit. Just walking, but sometimes up to 4 miles. Last year my FEV1 was 70. I was sure it would be lower this time, but she showed me the computer reading and FEV1 was 75. I almost doubt her, because

Tuesday’s the big day! Ablation #2!
My question is how many people have noticed that they developed
PVC
heart beats after AFIB ablation of anyone and did they go away? I know I need the surgery but I dread having PVCs all day a side affect from the surgery.

Pandora's box
Well, the last post I wrote spoke of PVC's I was experiencing. I'm afraid it escalated into one horrific episode one night, when I suddenly went completely dizzy and very nearly lost consciousness. Just managed to hold on until I could get to a phone and call the ambulance. The attack subsided and

Thoughts and ectopic
The feeling I get after a
pvc
, ectopic or whatever you want to call it I get this warm rush that comes over me and also a gurgling in my stomach. What makes my stomach gurgle? Is there a heart and stomach connection?

Sensations in neck/throat?
I had my Holter monitor placed this morning and will be wearing it for a week. It's an ePatch and much smaller than I expected. The nurse told me it could take a while for the results to come in, so now I am on edge about having to go through another waiting period. I did not get to see the doctor
