RRP Oct2016, slowly rising uPSA over past year in addition to several other issues including hypogonadism, intermittent TRT, osteopenia, etc
fT is an antagonist of
PTH
like hormone so if fT is low it is unchecked and breaks down more bone was the reasoning behind this effort. o HOWEVER, this was stopped when Estradiol rose from 8 to 209 (follow up test was 179).

What should I find out in phone appt?
Hi. Have phone appt with endocrine surgeon this week & I want to make sure I ask & find out everything I need to / should know. I have a sinking feeling that he’s going to pass me back to my GP. The short version (previous posts outline it): was diagnosed with “acute thyroiditis” first week of Feb

How are your calcium and PTH levels?
(by the way--people who took radio active iodine are advised by the NDC to have their
PTH
hormone levels tested every 5 years) Recently I have suffered from insomnia and extreme tiredness. Occasionally I've been waking up in the middle of the night with numb or tingling hands.

Doubts regarding diagnosis
PTH
was normal. And phosphorus was slightly elevated. Could this be something related to a thyroid issue?

Creatinine Good Parathyroid High
Well I got my blood test back and now I'm even more confused. I've been experiencing bone and joint pain, shortness of breath, tiredness, and swelling in face, hands and feet. I thought it was due to my stage 3 CKD. Test results show my creatinine has improved to 1.25 with my BUN at 1. This is the best

Restless legs/cramps from hypothyroidism or hyperparathyroidism?
I could have hyperparathyroidism as well due to the fact I had a quite severe vitamin D deficiency (9 ng/ml), now corrected and have elevated calcium levels (at 2.6 mmol/l), though I haven't taken a
PTH
test yet.

Parathyroid question
Got blood tests done and received letter saying my
PTH
is mildly raised 7.4. But normal calcium level so no further investigations needed. Under a rheumatologist at a different hospital where previously I've had raised calcium. Should I be concerned do you think. I've lost faith.

High parathyroid hormone
I have just had bloods done to look at my thyroid (out of this bloods they forgot to do my TSH) I am hyperthyroid with Graves disease and Padgets disease. I was previously on carbimozole which was stopped in August after being told I was stable. I am on vitamin D 1000 a day. I feel awful flushing again

down to 9.6 (
PTH

PTH

Hypothyroid with Hashimoto’s now primary Hyperparathyroidism as well. Anyone else in this boat??
So last week I went to have a blood test at the GP to check my thyroid levels (or so I believed). However when I got the results back there was no thyroid check done, instead I had results for the following; Serum parathyroid hormone 13.8 pmol/L ( 1.6 - 7.2) Plasma calcium level 2.66 mmol/L normal range
