Olanzapine withdraw
I was on it for 9 months this time (this was my 3rd
psychosis
event) last year coming off I didn’t have hardly any withdraw. This years been a lot worse. I tried to come off in May but had to go back on because of how bad the withdraw was.

Believe me you will get better, I had puerperal psychosis twice over 30 years ago and went on to have another baby without any psychosis
I am in my 50’s now and had
psychosis
twice after my first two children. I was sectioned twice and as little treatment or knowledge was available then had a horrendous time.

Trouble sleeping, and further pregnancy advice after PP episode?
So I’m a first time mum I had PP in April this year after my emergency caesarean, it was short lived thankgod and I wasn’t put on any medication except Zoloft then fluoxetine, to maintain my following anxiety, and I’m well now for the most part but my baby doesn’t sleep very well and even when he does

As someone who’s recovered from
psychosis
and felt relatively well in between each psychotic episode in the 20 years I’ve had bipolar I wanted anyone who’s struggling right now to know that you can recover from it and feel happy and things will get better and there will be a day you will look back on

MDD with psychosis - what's your experience with it . . .
I was diagnosed with MDD with
psychosis
(psychotic features) in Nov 2018. I am concerned that the delusions/hallucinations may be returning. Worthlessness is sneaking back and I feel as if I am not being a proper wife.

Need advice on medication treatment
Initially I was on zyprexa to treat the
psychosis
which worked great. I slowly became depressed and had bouts of insomnia so I was placed on Zoloft, lamictal and would take zyprexa occasionally to sleep.

Question. Has anyone with PCS or other BI been diagnosed with Narcolepsy.
I have wondered about this and have read that similar experiences (mad visions) come under neuro-
psychosis
. I have described this fantastical imagery in previous posts and have come to the conclusion that they are Hypagogic events, ie being conscious during REM sleep.

Medications
Good morning It's been about 3 years since my baby girl had her 1st onset of
psychosis
. She is 23 now. She has been on so many meds. Changing the combination of meds and dosage sometimes helps, but as your body chemistry changes unfortunately you have to start all over again with new meds.

I don't mean the
psychosis
part, I mean all the other left over rubbish feelings, particularly guilt in my case. I can't even look back at baby photos without getting upset and having flashbacks 😪 Sorry for babbling on..... R x

Olanzapine v Quetiapine
Hi, Does anyone have any thoughts on the difference between the 2 above medications? My daughter had PPP 3 years ago and occasionally has a relapse. In June the mental health team switched her onto Olanzapine 10mg a night. We are not sure about it. Any comments gladly received.

PP confusion?
Going through PP still over 4 months later...nothing seems to make any sense to me at all. I've never been so confused in my life. How do you deal with the confusion on top of delusions and everything else that comes with PP?

I need help but I cannot accept it
But recently I have had a very long phase of it, and becoming pregnant the hormones has absolutely sent me full on in a
psychosis
. I have a 9 year old son and the best husband who have been the victims of this.

Postpartum psychosis devastation
Over the years my
psychosis
turned into a severe mental illness, so I have never really recovered from the initial postpartum
psychosis
. It has been a devastating, horrendous journey.

Resurgence of PP at menopause and in times of stress?
Hello, Does Postnatal
Psychosis
condition commonly re-occur at menopause or in times of stress? We suspect it has in a friend who "isn't herself" and wasn't during menopause. She was diagnosed with PP twice. What steps to take? It seems less serious this time around. Any advice welcome.
