A history of PSA readings, how accurate are they?
My story began in June 2008 with a Gleason 4+5=9 and a PSA of 12.9. prior to radical
prostatectomy
to remove prostate. Post op PSA was nadir =0.03 after salvage radiotherapy. Onwards to 2010 PSA started to climb 5 and started Eligard (testosterone suppressant) .

Semi Erection & Orgasm 3 days after catheter removal
So i know this is 3rd email today but wanted to share that after going through the post-op material the hospital sent home with me and watching all the recovery from
prostatectomy
videos tonight, I figured ok this is day 3 since catheter was removed, so I might as well give it a try.

concerned about life post surgery
In two weeks i will have the radical
prostatectomy
. I am more concerned about the quality of life post surgery. I am not sure what to expect. The doctor tried to explain some of the side-effects. But that was a very clinical explanation of what can be done.

Biopsy report before surgery vs after surgery
He went for radical
prostatectomy
two months later, and the after surgery biopsy result stated it was actually a Gleason 7 (4+3). My questions here are, is it possible it was really Gleason 7 and not 9? Which biopsy is more accurate?

Metastatic Lymph Node, Recurrent PCa
Recently did the 18F PSMA1 007 PET/CT scan as result of rising PSA after
prostatectomy
in April 2016. PSA at 0.91 now and doubling every 5 months. Scan showed one small 4 mm avid right internal iliac lymph node that favors metastatic.

I am a newbie on this site...
We decided to do a Da Vinci radical
prostatectomy
. Subsequent blood testing indicated a low PSA level but not undetectable. So that was followed up with 8 weeks of radiation therapy of the prostate bed.

Prostate Cancer Recurrence-Fiducial Marker Placement ?
PSA starting to edge up after 4 years at zero after a radical
prostatectomy
. Looking over the paper work given to me at Moffitt Cancer Center, it details the placement of a Fiducial Marker where the prostate use to be.

Anyone Begin Having Heart Trouble Potentially Caused by PCA Treatment?
Immediately started Lupron, radiation to T8, then early chemo and later added Zytiga (and recently had
prostatectomy
). PSA is undetectable...and I’m still working full time and doing very well.

Help! Grappling with treatment choices.
Had a radical
prostatectomy
In Jan. 2016, first PSA following was.348. 33 sessions of Radiation therapy followed by 10 months of ADT (to "mop up"). PSA started rising again and is now tripling every 3 months and sitting at 2.8.
