Both links point to same trial.

Lately I switched to BCM-95 curcumin.

Glad to see that is what they considered appropriate for the trial

Must be my error. There is one trial for people who have had a prostatectomy and another for those who have been treated with radiation.

Wow, 500mg curcumin twice a day, that seems like a high dose. Other studies use about 200 -300 mg once a day.

from the study design:

Active Comparator: Curcumin

Curcumin 500 mg orally twice a day

Drug: Curcumin

Curcumin or placebo 500mg by mouth twice a day for 6 months

Other Names:

Bio-Curcumin(BCM-95CG)

That is basically what Dr. Myers had me on for a while. Then for some reason, I didn't understand he took me off of it.

I take one LE Super Bio Curcumin with Ginger & Tumerones and a LE Super Bio Curcumin together 3X daily. In the morning I also take quite a bit of organic ginger while drinking cups of green tea with ginger. This works good enough to relieve the pain and get me moving. I have pain from old athletic injuries to tendons and ligaments that recurred after repeated use of fluoroquinolones attacked them. I take the curcumin for two reasons. The fact that I had prostate cancer is the other. Never had anything but good results form talking these amounts.

Hmmm I have never heard of using curcumin for pain.
