zoledronic acid infusion

I had my second infusion of zoledronic acid on the 25th April and I must say it seems to be helping I am not getting as much back pain, I know that they don't know exactly when to stop it because it begins to make bones brittle after a time, and then it looks like prolia which seems dodgy,

I was told 3 infusions and then they rescan.

That’s what is happening with my friend. She’s had her rescan a while ago . Still hasn’t heard anything back though.

I had 1 Prolia in Feb. NEVER AGAIN!! I had so many side effects. Worse was open sore on my gum for 3 days. Then ended up in ER rash all over my body. I’m going to Relay off in Aug. with Reclast as that’s the only relay med I can have because I had Gastric Bypass.

Hi i have been on Prolia for a long time with no side effects except the problem with dental work have no other side effects and no oth er option as tablet s dont work for me

I think people with underlying problems suffer more with prolia, but what can you do, I am probably going on prolia either that or fractures, will have a dexa scan before prolia to see where I am.

Can you say why they don’t work for you? Undecided if I will get zolendronic acid because I’m worried that if it doesn’t agree with me I’m stuck for the whole year with problems!

Same here. After Reclast nothing else I can go on due to having Gastric Bypass.

It works fine for me. But i get 6 months injection in surgery

have you gained any weight with prolia , some people have lost weight while on it, I can't afford to lose weight.
