Update on my daughter's GP call today. So angry.
I'm so angry but not surprised. I didn't expect much tbh. My daughters last Vitamin results from 2022 were B12 290, Ferritin 24, folate 9.2 & Vit D 39. She been on thyroxine since a teenager now in her 40's. TSH levels fluctuating all over the place for past 6 years. Well the GP called today

Trying to interpret my results
Hi I was wondering if I could ask some advice regarding my latest results. I've just had bloods done so anticipating the usual conversation with my GP about my TSH being too low.... I've screen shot my results since 2015 basically as I've been tracking them as my TSH rarely changes, even with a reduction

My first results after beginning 5mcg T3. Is my FT4 & FT3 too high now?
Hello again, please could I ask for your thoughts on my new blood test (Blue Horizon Thyroid Bronze). 6 weeks ago I started taking 5mcg T3 once a day (via Roseway Labs) alongside my usual 75mcg Levothyroxine as my FT3 was on the low side. (I’m 67, only been hypothyroid for 18 months) Blood was

Would an iodine supplement help?
I still don't feel well (very tired and the most dreadful brain fog which has stopped me driving) and wondered how I would know if an iodine supplement might help? Any thoughts would be most appreciated. Latest Medichecks results - stopped taking b12 liquid 2 weeks before test. Taking Spatone, VitaminD

hyper/hypo now normal?
Hi all, I have posted previously about being diagnosed hyperthyroid and started on Carbimazole, this was stopped due to persistent neutropenia, then i swung to hypothyroid and now 7 weeks later I’ve had another blood test and everything’s normal! I feel like I’ve been on a rollercoaster ride and thrown

Alarming Thyroid Test Results :(
Hi everyone, I'm new here, nice to meet you all 🥰 I am a bit scared because I received some alarming blood test results. Everything started a couple of months ago when I began experiencing severe episodes of itching all over my body. I went to see my doctor to investigate this issue, and they prescribed

Slow Release T3 - SRT
Hi, My Dr has offered me Slow Release T3 or Sustained Release T3. I'm happy to try it, but it's expensive, so I wanted to gather peoples thoughts and experience before I proceed. Many thanks.

Feeling a bit depressed again with these results......
Just had some bloods done this morning, feeling exhausted this week, no energy, falling asleep all the time despite being on steroids for adrenal insufficiency, feeling a bit nauseous, headachey all week. It seems like all that's changed in 6 months is that my cortisol is lower, my TSH is higher (was

FEV1 rapid decline
I bought one of these portable spirometers which measures FEV1 and shows results on digital display. The results vary but the best indicates a 10% decline on figure from physician’s PFT 9 months ago. Definitely using the device correctly. Anyone tried these machines? I’m hoping the figures are inaccurate

low cortisol
hello, I’ve repeatedly had lowish 9am cortisol (around 250ish mark) but passed SST. However, private endo has said he wants to trial a low dose of hydrocortisone to see if it helps my symptoms of chronic fatigue, headaches, muscle aches etc. etc. I’m nervous to trial a steroid when I don’t have Addison

Persistent cough and possible asthma diagnosis
Hello. I’m new here and keen to find out if other people with asthma have experienced the symptoms I have. I have had a persistent cough for about 4 months. Generally I feel a pressure in my chest and lower throat where it feels like a can’t breath. I then cough as this feels like it relieves the pressure

What to do?
I have tried to take 100 Levothyroxine but I felt horrible. Would you recommend lowering Levothyroxine to 75 and adding 5 or perhaps 5+5 liothyronine? On 87.5 t4 TSH 0.23(0.4-4.2) Ft3 4.2 (3.5-6.5) Ft4 15 (12-23)

Please enlighten me!!!
I have not had labs since 2023 and needed new RX. The following are results from 4/11 at which time I had not taken any thyroid meds for one week. I had really been concerned about the possibility of heart issues due to over 6 months of extreme fatigue, inability to do even light excercise, shortness

Can pernicious anaemia be caused by long term use of lansoprazole?
Hello everyone, I am a lady of 67. Ive been taking lansoprazole for years. Then I began to feel ill with various symptoms the doctor was not interested in or would virtually say I was a hypocondriac. I nagged and got sent to a consultant who said I had neurological problems caused by fibromylgia and

Cortisol saliva test results - medichecks
Afternoon all. Got these results back this afternoon - the notes provided not very helpful as just say everything looks fine, no need to worry as morning and bedtime levels all good. 😏 What does <1.5 mean given all three apart from waking are at this level? Do I have low cortisol levels? Getting all
