Watching House
I am off on a long weekend (tomorrow I go back to work), and watching House on Netflix. Funny how they focus on positive ANA for lupus on this. Of course it is never lupus, but the irony is, when you don’t tests positive on ANA - it can’t be lupus. BUT, if people test positive for ANA, you are told

Start from scratch
Great advice here! So I concentrated on my daughter’s health now to me. After flu I’ve gone to my gp to request the T3 as well as full blood count etc but they have refused the T3 So I placed an order for my private tests as recommended here and will keep you updated as to my progress

Is it normal?
I know I am probably repeating myself but my anxiety is so bad and frightening now I need some comfort and reassurance please. I am so isolated and very alone with all this Is it normal to have palpitations about an hour after taking any dose of T3? I have noticed it a few times but just put it down

High vitamin D results but have symptoms of low D. Is this possible?
I have osteoporosis, and spinal stenosis, waiting for surgery. My latest blood test for vit. D is - Serum total 25-hydroxy vitamin D levels. 174nmol/L. [. >51]at risk of toxicity, consider discontinuation of suppliments. I have discontinued but I remember reading somewhere that as I have coeliacs disease

Hypo on Aristo
I have been taking 62.5 mcg mercury pharma plus 15T3 for a couple of years Every time I try and increase the Thyroxine I get itchy eyes and a runny nose ( with stomach pain) so eventually I got a prescription for Aristo.. but since being on it I am so hypothyroid, I’m struggling to walk and spend most

What deficiencies could B12 injection cause?
Some of you might remember me writing about how, since moving to Pascoe vials from Dr Myhill's multi use vial, I've been experiencing whole of body mini vibrations / electricity / agitation. It's particularly bad in the night and I wake with it. I had worked out that it's tolerable by reducing injection

Should I be asking for an increase in Levo?
I have an appt with my endo on Thursday to discuss my latest results and those from last August and April when I was taking different amounts of levo. I always follow the suggested procedure of stopping Vit B complex a week before, early blood test and not taking levo for 24 hours. My most recent

Re Blood tests
I am under the care of nuclear team as having RAI treatment after papillary cancer n Thyroidectomy. I read various posts here and am now mystified and concerned. Liothyronine T3
Is anyone having difficulty getting Mercury Pharma Liothyronine? The pharmacy I’ve been getting mine from for 8 years are now saying they can’t get them as there is a supplier issue. If they can’t get them what’s the best alternative?

hi all, I have very low ferritin and need to supplement iron. Do I need to take my carbimazole away from iron or it doesn’t matter?
