Can b complex with biotin cause elevated T4?
Hello, I had to have a thyroid blood test due to imminent surgery so only had 3 days notice. I had stopped my b complex (PinkTribe liposomal b complex) 3 days before the test. The result of the T4 was 25 (11 - 21) whereas the test I had about 3 weeks ago at my Gp, when I had stopped the b complex,

Blood test timing when insulin dependent
I have been underactive ever since RAI over thirty years ago. Unfortunately, due to poor management of thyroxine dosage (consultant didn't know what he was doing and left me to GP) I gained a lot of weight which just wouldn't shift. So I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and was prescribed Metformin

Anxiety and panic attacks
Hello, I am a newbie... I have been SI every other day for 6 weeks. I had increased anxiety and a panic attack after my last couple of injections so have not injected for the past 2 weeks, but my anxiety/panic and trouble sleeping have continued. My doctor said he has never seen this in any of this

Yet another night of writhing around, getting up, lying down, getting up , lying down - on and on and on it goes, I really feel like there is a monster inside me when this happens. Fell off the bed, hitting my coccyx, head and elbow. I don’t understand pregabalin- 3 nights of ok sleep then three nights

ferritin still low
As mentioned before my ferritin is 13, can’t tolerate any oral form and have had infusions in the past. Am being denied infusion as Full bloods are within range, no idea what to do now, eating plenty of iron rich foods, feeling really unwell and down. Recent test results: B12=651(187-883), vit D=92(

Restless Legs - changing treatment.
Can anyone advise me? I have had RLS for more than 30 years, familial predisposition. Been on Pramipexole for about 10 years - started with 0.088 mg. Over the years with the need to increase the dose - now 0.7 mg. Sleeps only about 2 + 2 hours a night. Has severe restlessness in the legs, like a wasps

Suboptimal Cortisol levels following Synacthen test
I’ve just turned 60 and used to be a sportsperson. I’ve been on predisolene for 5 1/2 years and unable to get below 5mg despite several slow attempts. My rheumy suggested a short synacthen test via Endo which was 8 months later. I barely function on 5mg with doing bare minimum, giving up my small flower

Tiromol T3 - Any good etc?
Would be people be so kind as to tell me how they got on with the T3 brand tiromol? I am just trying the odd 25mcg tablet here and there along with my Thybon Henning. Tiromol is a little easier on the wallet which is one of the reasons I have decided to try it. Many thanks.

help to understand test results
After a year of monitoring my TSH due to a bout of subacute thyroiditis, initially suspected as thyroid cancer. I am now at a point where my GP feels medication may be required and have undertaken an extensive range of blood tests through the GP I have an appointment on the 4th July to discuss options

Sue perhaps you can help me, I have been successfully relying on diet for years but RLS seems to be catching up. I am in Australia. Perhaps its simply a matter of getting older (currently 79) but a couple of other things might be a problem. I tore a hamstring muscle or tendon that apparently caused

Ferritin and B12D/PA
Some time ago (on this forum?) I read that 80% of PA people had peripheral neuropathy and 20% did not. I have dizziness, brain fog and tinnitus but not PN. I believe the above are related to the central nervous system rather than the peripheral nervous system. What I'm discovering in my case is that the

Medichecks ferritin results and ranges
Hi all. I don't have a thyroid issue (this has been ruled out), but someone on the PAS forum suggested I post a query on here to see if anyone could shed light on this issue. Having accessed my GP records late last year I discovered I had a long-standing ferritin deficiency, as defined by NICE guidelines
