Progesterone

She is feeling a little stressed as her clinic prefers a progesterone level above 80 on the day of transfer and hers was 50 (supplements upped since).

I took these results prior to starting my progesterone this month.

I had anorexia pretty badly in my 20s and my bone density still isn't the greatest, so I've avoided progesterone-based treatments.

On my last cycle (which obviously failed) my progesterone levels were 135 nmol on the day of transfer. On this round, they were 154 nmol. This seems very high given that the clinic aim for over 80.

I have been on the combined pill since I was 13/14ish for heavy periods (never suffered with cramps) but changed to progesterone only about 2022- so no longer break for a period. The day of having my ultra sound my GP rang me to discuss stool sample results- which were fine, nothing found.

Then one with the nurse to discuss the progesterone only pill, as an alternative. They have said it's dangerous for someone of my age 49 to be on it for too long. Has anyone here any experience of this medication. As I'm very nervous of new medication to be honest. Many thanks x

I had my progesterone levels checked today for my first FET transfer on Thursday. I’m currently taking 2 x cyclogest pessaries a day.

Had scan and blood and lining was slightly think and bloods showed estrogen and progesterone high so gave me more norethisterone for 7 days. I have finished them 2 days ago and now waiting for a bleed.

I had 3 FETs cancelled in a raw because of high progesterone on day 10, and the 4th medicated FET failed (BFN). I was on 8mg estogen and my lining was growing 2,5 mm per day at one point (between day 8 and 9).

Was given bio identical progesterone which cut my persistent bleeding by 90%. The period came on and I restarted bleeding like crazy with blood clots passing through that almost I felt like fainting. Admitted to the UCLH where I was scanned again and they do not see any fibroid.

Yesterday I went for a blood test just to check progesterone again as I feel paranoid it’s going to drop because I don’t absorb the pessaries very well so I’m also taking one lubion injection. My pregnancy blood test is on Friday and my app says AF is due tomorrow. Is anyone else testing on Friday?

Just 40 years old previous two rounds: Round One; 3 eggs two fertilised day 5 - one 4 cell and one 8 cell. nothing to freeze (no fresh transfer due to cyst and high progesterone) round 2: 4 eggs only one fertilised normally - (calcium ionophore was used) one blastocyst transferred.

As I said in my previous post, first beta at 12dp5dt came back positive with 191, I did the second beta at 14dp5dt and it came back 181 and I had a bad cramps the night before, so I assume I miscarried.As it was a natural modified cycle, the doctor asked me to stop the progesterone supplement, so it's

The clinic seemed happy with transfer and said progesterone levels good.

Keen to know if anybody is taking 200mg and not 100mg of Utrogestan. Dose bumped up by private Endo. Not sure if it’s helping or making things worse. Thanks.

I'm on HRT and working hard to balance ALL hormones, I currently get my Progesterone from abroad because mybuseleas GP doesn't believe I need it because I have no womb. Anyway I can also get T3 from the same person so will be giving it a go.

After huge amounts of research, I discovered they were due to low progesterone (please reference Prof Jerilynn Prior medical papers). I now take 400mg of uteogestan per day and the panic attacks have completely disappeared.

We had FET of 2 embryos with donated eggs, During TWW I had light red spotting and the hospital increased levels of progesterone. (I’m taking estrogen 3x1, progesterone IM injections every 4th day, , prolutex (subcutaneous inj. 2x1) and utrogestan 2x2 and Clexane 1x1. ) I’m sorry for TMI.

Doc text my progesterone was great at 39 at 5dpt. But does thT even mean anything? Wish he never messaged me that. I'm losing it.

Women suffer in similar ways with oestrogen and progesterone deficiencies which are treated with antidepressants. it’s ironic that as a child of the fifties, I was never drawn into the drug culture of the time.
