Chronic Endometritis
Hey lovely ladies! My question today related to endometritis/chronic uterine inflammation. I have done 4 hysteroscopies so far (two in 2021, one in 2022, one in 2023), each time the inflamed endometrium came out, with a "strawberry" appearance. After the tests, I came out positive for Ureaplasma (at

Acupuncture on the day of transfer
I have my first modified natural FET booked on Wednesday. I'm pretty scared because of how devastated I was when the fresh transfer failed. I looked into acupuncture and had a session last week. It really helped relax me. The acupuncturist wants to see me the day before and day of the transfer. I've

Shared motherhood fresh transfer
Hi all. I'm back after a break. Me and my partner are doing the shared motherhood IVF. We have done it in the past however we had frozen embryo transfers. Has anyone had experience of fresh transfers for shared motherhood/reciprocal ivf? How in sync should both cycles be? I keep getting different answers

Differing embryo quality for a double embryo transfer
Hi ladies, I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with having a really good quality and a more poor quality day 5 blastocyst transferred together? I’ve read conflicting things. One consultant told me they wouldn’t recommend it and another said they don’t see why not. So I thought I’m best

Keeping Going (part 4)
Well having been turned inside out by a nasty Bug and losing 14 lb of weight in two week, my Grandson and daughter convinced me that if at 76 to recover, I was going to have to do a lot of work. So ordered some Whey protein and some weights. So some gentle weight training plus gentle runs. After two

Swimming during IVF (FET)?
Is there any part of the FET cycle that it is recommended not to go swimming during? I start my FET in the next week or so and am booked to go on a caravan holiday soon where the swimming slots are booked in advance... the slots have just opened and I don't know if I can swim while doing the FET cycle

how long did you wait between MC and FET?
hi I hope you’re all well and going strong in your journey! I’d like to learn from your experience how long did you wait between MC until next FET ? We have been told I need 2 periods in between, I first thought the MC was the first , and after next period you could start planning for FET. But not sure

Missed Lubion injection
Following my FET 12 days ago, I have been prescribed I x cyclogest pessary and 1 x lubion injection a day. Last night when I went to do my injection I realised I had run out of syringes and needles (I have plenty of the drug itself). It was late so I took a pessary instead as wasn’t sure what else to

An Idiot’s Guide to Egg Donation
Hi, I’ve recently started looking into egg donation, but have a million questions about the practicalities. I wanted to see if you lovely ladies might be able to help. My preference is to have the treatment in the UK, but I’m looking for an egg donor of a certain religion - which means I’ll probably

5 days past fresh embryo transfer. I feel very much not pregnant...
Struggling a bit this evening with negative thoughts. I just don’t feel pregnant. Whilst I understand that maybe I wouldn’t feel pregnant, the lack of signals from my body at the moment isn’t filling me with optimism. I’m meant to be testing two weeks after transfer but I have already decided to test

Sensitive: *update* Am I one of those miracle stories or is this more heartache and help please...
*Sensitive update: hcg went from 80 to 430 in 4 days and progesterone is still high even though I'm on only one utrogestan a day, so I am feeling hugely relieved as none of my losses got that far or went up like that. Btw I've done a gazzilion tests on different brands (as FRERs out of stock everywhere

Post embryo transfer intense cramps, has anyone experience this???
I had my embryo transfer on Sunday and have been feeling good ever since. I just woke in the night with quite strong womb cramping that was also in my vagina. I then got the sensation that I needed to go to the bathroom to pass a bowel movement. So I went and now I feel okay again. Has anyone experienced

5th transfer done - tips for getting through next 10 days.
After 15 months of having a break and embryo banking, I’ve just had my 5th embryo transfer in my quest for my first baby. It was a 5ab frozen embryo transfer and now is the dreaded 10 day wait for pregnancy blood test. Any tips/advice on what worked for you getting through the wait? I find it so hard

implantation failure
Hi everyone, looking for some feedback on implantation failure and whether there’s anything I can do or if the failure is more likely from Embryo quality. I’ve had two double embryo transfers with my own eggs (collected at age 37/38- two batches of 4 and 5 a month either side of my 38th birthday)

Goat whey, casein, IGF-1 etc. - Do they promote or slow cancer growth?
I've been trying for many years to decide whether to take a protein powder supplement to help maintain muscle mass. Since I started on ADT in 2016, I've lost 30 pounds. I don't know how much is due to the ADT, and how much is due to my diet. I'm 172 pounds now. I was muscular and athletic at 202,
