Post embryo transfer intense cramps, has anyone experience this???

I had my embryo transfer on Sunday and have been feeling good ever since. I just woke in the night with quite strong womb cramping that was also in my vagina. I then got the sensation that I needed to go to the bathroom to pass a bowel movement. So I went and now I feel okay again. Has anyone experienced anything like this??

Yes, on my successful FET I got the most intense cramps early in the early hours 3dp5dt - they woke me up and I thought I was going to have a terrible stomach or my period had decided to show up to prove I definitely wasn't pregnant. But then it only lasted about half an hour. I got a BFP that evening :)

That’s brought me a bit of hope. Thank you very much for sharing this!

I did have a horrible pain in my sleep roughly 3/4 days following my successful transfer. Felt it twice. Pregnant with twins. It could be implantation. Wishing you all the best

This is the same time frame as yours. Did you transfer two embryos or one? The pain I had was in my womb but also in my vagina it didn’t last more than a few minutes. Hopefully it’s implantation 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Hi Here. Well if you had a fresh transfer then your ovaries can still be a bit active, and with poo passing by, then big ouch! even if FET you are manipulated lots so could be settling down. Seems like you might have been a bit constipated, so keep an eye on that. You can be susceptible to urine infections too so drink lots of water, which you should be doing anyway. Loads of things it could be and they add up to a bigOUCH. All will settle I’m sure. Good luck. Diane
