Azilect and Wellbutrin
Anyone taking Azilect with Wellbutrin XL? I think my husband is in need of an antidepressant and I have read that Wellbutrin is one of the ones that may increase dopamine. What other ones are you taking and how are they working for you? Thank you. This community is a blessing and so are all of you.

Mom's energy level is dropping. She started the Amantadine at Easter. It was wonderful, but now she's tired. Will it get better again.
She does look better in her face, younger even. But she's back to staying at home, worn-out, even though the tremors have improved. I'm worried about the weakness. Does anyone have the same experiences?

Azilect and antidepressants ( used for sleep problems)
I am taking Azilect 1 MG, along with two other meds, (Amantadine & Carbidopa-Levo). I was experiencing sleep problems and told my PD neurologist, who prescibed Trazodone 50 MG Tablet....Directions instruct: TAKE ONE TABLET BY MOUTH AT BEDTIME INCREASING TO 2 TABLETS IF NEEDED FOR SLEEP. Earlier

Hello from a new boy
Hello Everyone - I have been diagnosed for 9 years and am better now than i was 4 years ago. I put that down to seeing a marvellous Neuorlogist in Cambridge (not my home town) who recommended Azilect as an adddition to my Sinemet Plus and Amantadine and to change my Ropinirole to Requip XL. This change

Problems continuing after a hysterectomy
! am 47 and I had a total hysterectomy for endometriosis 6 years ago and have continually had health problems since, mainly minor infections which seem to have increased in the last year so that I am almost constantly taking antibiotics. I also feel extremely tired, have chest pains and breathlessness

Have you Impulsive Compulsive Behaviour? Do you know anyone who has this? Do you know anyone on Mirapex or Requip. Promipexal or Ropinirole?
I hope you will trust me with your life, if we by sharing our tales of woe about these sad meds we have to take, it could help the Pd people following up in our footsteps, be brave, share your stories, we don't need names, we are all in the same boat, I think it's called the Titanic. I know this is

I don't have a tremor. My symptoms are all movement related and I have
problems with fine motor movements in my hands. I was on Sinemet 25/100 (1 1/2 tabs 4 x day). At my last visit I told my specialist that I didn't think the meds worked as I never have on/off times. I saw my specialist on Tuesday after being off my meds for 48 hrs. He is now not sure if I have Parkinsons

Self managing PD - Are we serious or not?
I’m back. With good reason though, inspired by a message I received, I decided to post. The following issues, in my opinion, are not being addressed properly within the whole pd community. (I am in the UK but this could equally apply anywhere). Ok here we go. (Another lengthy one) The drugs

I'm on Sinemet 25/100 (1 1/2 tablet) 4 times a day. I can honestly say it doesn't seem like my symptoms ever change, I don't feel like I
have on/off periods. My Neuro is going to have me go off my meds for 48 hours then have me come into the office and run me through the usual tests. Then he is going to medicate me and then check me again to see what changes, if anything. I was diagnosed with Parkinson's in July 2010 and initially

Sinemet best practice - take a tablet when you feel you need it or stick to 3 times a day and be uncomfortable.
I cannot stick to 1 tablet of Sinemet, 62.5mg 3 times a day as directed by my PD Nurse as I definitely need one every 4 hours or I wear off and have very uncomfortable, painful restless leg syndrome. I have started taking 5 a day and then add in Sinemet CR 25mg Levodopa at night to try and get some
