Urinary retention
I have a UTI at the moment, but prior to being diagnosed hypo I had noticed that my urine stream had weakened a little. It seems to have weakened more since going on levo and I don't pee as much (maybe the apparent retention is the cause of the UTI - I don't usually suffer). My question is - did anyone

Apo-go-Pen
I'm new here, was diagnosed with PD in 2010 after Dat-scan. As the Oral medications wear out and dyskinesia takes control of me most of the day, my Neuro suggests to switch to The apo-go-morphine pen. For that I reduced by half my Levodopa dosage which is not without difficulty and 2 days before

Levothyroxine Interstitial Cystitis
I have had an underactive thyroid for 13 years and have been on Levothyroxine. I also have interstitial cystitis. Can Levothyroxine upset interstitial cystitis? Contracted both conditions within a year of each other. If thyroid not controlled properly, can that upsetiinterstitial cystitis?

Tips for controlling dyskinesias and pain
Good morning.. I was diagnosed 5 yes ago, started on Sinemet 100/25 1 tab every 8 hours. I am now up to 2 tabs every 3 hrs. I have had dyskinesias for about 6 months which are new. I'm also experiencing increased pain in joints and muscle..I was just wondering how other people manage these symptoms?

amantadine, norepinephrine, locus coeruleus, methylphenidate (Ritalin), ceruleus
In 2012 I was taking 3 25/100 of c/l per day and was developing tiredness. A neurologist suggested adding amantadine 2 per day of 100 mg. Within hours of taking the first amantadine, my walking had improved dramatically. I noticed and several neighbors noticed. At least

More off time and freezing
Hi Everyone, My friend was diagnosed nearly 3 years ago and has been doing well until recently. She takes Sinemet 25/100mg four times a day along with 1 x Mirapex. She`s having more problems during her off time between Sinemet doses and has started to freeze on occasions which has caused her great concern

Dyskinesia
I am 71 years old, been diagnosed 5 1/2 years Started out on Azilect and Requip. Never really felt great on this but my neurologist wanted to keep me on the least amount of medication for as long as possible. In Jan 2013 I felt terrible so he put me on Carbidopa Levadopa 25/100 three times a day I did

Liquid Sinemet
My doctor prescribed me to take Sinemet and Comtan every 2 hours, but I am afraid to have dyskinesia because it just sinemet over 13 pills + sinemet ER at night. I already have dyskinesia, but not all the time. I understand that to take every 2 hours sinemet it no time to have a meal. Has anybody tried

From about age 14-15 (when I started my period) I remember having excruciating and completely crippling period pain. I also had a really weak bladder. CL and dyskinesia
I have a family member who is petrified that he will get dyskinesia if he takes CL for a long time...so He has gradually stopped taking CL and is trying Azilect. Anyone have any words of wisdom for us?

Is atelectasis a common problem with people who have bronchiectasis and have primary ciliary dyskinesia?
I was told by my doctor that I had atelectasis which was observed on a chest x-ray located in the area where I had past pneumonia when I was pregnant with my daughter. I don't know what this means to my health or the treatment for atelectasis or if atelectasis is a permeant thing for me now. I will

Hysterectomy & Bladder Hydrodistention w/cytoscopy
I have stage 2 Endometriosis and have been having a lot of urinary frequency with pain and the Dr. thinks that I probably have Interstitial Cystitis, as they occur in 2/3rds of those with Endo. He also mentioned it being Endo's evil twin, lol. Anyway, I'm scheduled for a hysterectomy and hydro/cytoscopy
