Suggestions on this mucuna dosage calculation
I was recently diagnosed with PD. The neurologist suggested I start with 1/2 tablet of 25/100 MG carbidopa levodopa. I prefer to try mucuna first. I bought this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0191ITEN0 It comes with a scoop. The description says one scoop is 3000 mg. The website also says the powder is

Medications improving my cardio?
I take ropinirole and amantadine. I've had PD for nearly two years. I was on Sinemet but discontinued it because of severe tiredness. The neuro switched me to the two drugs mentioned above. I've mentioned the HIIT that I do on a treadmill. I've done it for over two years. In the past it was close

Endometriosis and Cystitis
Quick question because I can't seem to find a straight forward answer, are endometriosis and cystitis linked? I seem to get cystitis when I'm due on and then shortly after I've come off. Also, any tips on how to ease it? I'm drinking plenty of fluids (especially cranberry juice) but nothing seems to

Prolopa dosing
I live in the US and use carbidopa/levodopa and am familiar with it's dosing protocols. My mother in law lives in El Salvador and takes Prolopa which is levodopa and benserazide (instead of carbidopa). I understand that Prolopa and Madopar are essentially the same. We just visited my mother in law and

4.6. Twice as effective We have seen that the Mucuna seed extract naturally contains levodopa. Urinary contraction muscle and focal refraction muscle related
I've been noticing that my vision has become more and more blurry over the past few months. I also had been having trouble urinating with ease. (Basically, it would take a while for my bladder to decide it was ready to release its contents). I had read that Cymbalta(taking for pain) could cause urinary

Any guidance on how to switch from IR C/L to CR C/L during the day?
I would like to try switching my mom over from her immediate release (IR) carbidopa levadopa (C/L) to controlled release (CR) C/L during the day. She already takes CR CL at night and I notice that it seems to work much smoother for her. She still needs one or two IR C/L throughout the night until she

I have a bad habit of over dosing when I'm in an off time.
I take a total of 8 stalevo 200mgs and 7 Sinemet EQ 100mgs during the day. My off periods are extremely terrible and at times I'll crush 1 or 2 EQ's and take with ginger ale. One time I had taken a Stalevo at 6pm , 2 EQ's at 6:45, 1 EQ at 7:00 and one at 7:15. I took my Stalevo again at 8:30 then of

On/Off period caused by Sinemet. Anyone taking dopamine agonist and/or MAO inhibitors experience on/offs?
I found in the web an interesting info about a disclaimer contained in the package insert of Sinemet distributed in Australia. It warns as a “side effect the on/off periods may occur to some people after one year use where people may lose their ability to move from minutes to hours then can move again
